Despite our contorted position, which I’m still a little shocked we were able to get into, my body is practically vibrating from pleasure. Every erogenous zone I have is getting a thorough pounding, forcing me to grit my teeth in an effort to hold off my orgasm until all three of us can finish together.

“I’m close, Kane. Blake’s close,” Jace mutters against my lips as he drives Blake deep within my core. “Come with us.”

Thank God.

I don’t know if it’s his plea or my own desire that makes me comply, but suddenly the telltale prickle of bliss is within reach, and my body starts to soar. Warmth radiates from my center, spearing down to my toes and out to my fingertips, as my ass starts to contract. Faintly at first, the intensity grows as Blake’s cock nudges deep within me, my walls flexing and contracting of their own accord as my cock shudders, the release consuming me.

Erotic cries assault my senses. Between my own heartbeat and the animalistic growls of the other two men, the sounds reverberate through me like the heavy bass of a guitar, shaking my whole body. Spent, I can do little more than cling to Jace as I try not to slip off Blake while the tremors flow through me and fade to nothingness, like the ripples from a rock skipping across the water.

Gradually, the dense thudding in my ears is replaced by heavy breathing, the soothing caress of Blake’s hands running over my waist. Fingers cramping from their strangled hold on Jace, I tentatively flex them to bring them back to life as I lift off Blake, hoping my shaky legs can support my weight.

Two sets of hands help me to the bed, where the three of us collapse. Blake and Jace thread their fingers together and rest them on my stomach, anchoring us together as we wait for our bodies to recover. It’s in this moment, right now, that I know committing to them both is the right choice. That we really are meant to be.

“I hate to kill the mood.” Blake rolls to his back and slings a forearm over his head. “But we haven’t talked about the bigger picture.”

“Which is?” I prompt as Jace props himself on an elbow to play with my pink hair.

“This isn’t an easy lifestyle.” Jace’s expression borders on melancholy as he tries to twirl the short strand between his fingers. “Not everyone believes it’s possible to be in love with two people at once, and in a town this small we won’t exactly fade into the background.”

“I love this town,” Blake says to the ceiling. “And the people are some of the best around. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be talk. I doubt it’d be malicious, but we’ll definitely raise some eyebrows. At least to start. Are we all ready for that?”

Blake rolls to his side, mirroring Jace so he can see both of us, although I know he’s really talking to me. Am I ready to be the topic of conversation? Probably not. But I have to trust that the three of us together can handle anything the outside world throws at us.

I take a fortifying breath and meet Blake’s wary gaze. “I’m ready.”

Epilogue

This is it. Our first outing as a throuple—or whatever Jace calls it. I’m still not convinced it’s actually a term, but whatever. The three of us are solid, and that’s all that matters.

To be honest, while I’m ready to take this step, I don’t love the idea of going out the day after we got outed. I’d rather enjoy our new relationship just the three of us, because there’s no one else I want to see right now. But that would be perceived as hiding, which will only fuel baseless rumors. Stuff like one of us was cheating on the other, which couldn’t be further from the truth. That’s why we decided to face things head on.

The Underground isn’t overly crowded when we arrive, so we find a booth in the corner—not hiding exactly—but not putting ourselves on display, either. We all sit on one side, saving the other for Axel and Lennon, who are going to join us in a show of support. That’s not really necessary, but I appreciate it all the same, even if it did take coming out of the closet to get Lennon to take an unplanned night off.

Sandwiched between Jace and Kane I’m actually feeling calm, despite being acutely aware of the not-so-subtle glances boring into the back of my head.

“Nervous?” Jace clasps my thigh under the table.

“Only in the sense that some people might be offended I didn’t come out sooner.” Small towns are a lot like family in the sense that they always want to know what’s going on, and can feel slighted when they don’t. I’m really hoping Ryder’s experience with Chase means he won’t fall into that category.

“You think they’ll object?” Kane lays his hand on my arm.

“Not to me liking men, no. To dating two men at once… I think they’ll have trouble wrapping their heads around it at first, which I think is pretty natural considering I did the same thing.” I chew on my lip as I try to imagine how the night will go.

A pitcher and several glasses banging on the table pulls me out of my head. “How are the local celebrities doing?” Axel shoots Jace a playful wink.

“Don’t be a dick.” Jace flips him off.

“I’m not.” Axel holds his hands up innocently. “You three are the talk of the town, how are you handling it?”

“The talk is behind our backs.” I jerk my head over my shoulder. “You tell us how we should handle it.”

Lennon cocks his head to the side thoughtfully. “Well, half the people are saying they knew all along…”

“No surprise there,” I mutter. “Nona likes to believe she knows everything, and I’m sure her friends are claiming the same.” I don’t know if it’s an age thing or a female thing, but the elderly lady who owns the local market likes to mother everyone, which also means she thinks she’s all-knowing. It’s both harmless and annoying.

Lennon shoots me a wry smile. “Exactly. The other half are surprised they didn’t pick up on it since you never really had a girlfriend or whored yourself out like Cade used to and Deacon still does. And everyone, including the two of us,” he gestures between himself and Axel, “want to know if they make beds big enough for three people.”

Kane chokes on a sip of beer and Jace chuckles while I wipe a hand down my face.
