I didn’t even think twice. I pulled out, ripped the condom off, and plunged back into her. She somehow felt even better bare like this. “Ohfuck, Tess.”
She reached behind me, her hand sinking into my hair, and she turned, looking up at me. “I love you, Levi,” she whispered and kissed me hard. I exploded, spilling into her and taking her with me. And when we came down from the high, we slumped against the sink, catching our breath. My heart cracked, overflowing with love, when I saw our hands side by side on the sink, our wedding bands shining in the dim light.
I felt like I was in another dimension when I pulled out of her, the ground swirling beneath me. I wiped between her legs with a paper towel, my hands shaking with the gravity of everything that had just happened in here.
I kissed her cheek, her skin soft and warm. “Are you okay?”
“Yes,” she whispered, smiling. She took my hand. “Are you?”
I chuckled. “Just trying to remember my name.” Her smile widened, and she pulled me to her, her kiss soft and tender. My thumb ran along her jaw, tipping her face up more. “I love you.”
Her eyes softened. “I love you.”
A harsh banging on the door made her yelp and move to my side. “Tess, are you and Levi in there?” Claire asked through the door.
Her hands flew to her mouth, her eyes sparking with amusement. “Oh my God!” she whispered, giggling. She straightened her clothes, brushing her hands over her hair—it did nothing. There was no hiding what we’d just done. The air smelled like sex, and she looked thoroughly fucked. I tossed the condom in the trash and straightened my hair in the mirror. There was nothing that could be done about my shirt; the top three buttons were missing.
The door creaked open. “Sorry, bear,” Tess said with a shy grin.
“We’ve been looking all over the place for you two,” Claire said. Her gaze bounced between us. “Bathroom sex? Really? Who are you and what have you done with my sister?”
Tess just shrugged. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She took my hand and we walked past her.
“Sorry,” I murmured, heat crawling up my neck.
She arched a brow, amused. “Uh-huh.”
Tess didn’t stop walking until we were in the parking lot. I looked around and saw Delilah and Emmett talking in the alleyway, but it wasn’t nearly as heated as before. Tess looped her arms around my neck, and all my focus went to her. “I’m ready to go home,” she said.
My heart skipped a beat hearing her refer to my house as her home. I wrapped my arms around her waist, kissing the tip of her nose. “Okay.”
“Will you sleep with me tonight?”
My chest warmed. “Whatever you want, sweetheart.”

Tess
Warmth and the smell of Levi enveloped me when I woke up. So last night was real after all. I couldn’t help but smile when I saw his arm wrapped around my waist and felt his even breathing against my chest. I snuggled against him harder, wanting closer. I was pretty certain I’d crawl into his skin if I could. The thought made me giggle.
Levi hummed low and deep, nuzzling his nose in the crook of my neck. “I like it when you hold me like this,” he rasped, his voice thick with sleep.
“Me too.” He propped himself over me, looking beautiful with his tired eyes and bedhead, and if I hadn’t already been in love with him, I would’ve fallen for him in this moment. “Good morning.”
A corner of his mouth curved with a smirk, his dimple popping. “Morning, sweetheart.” His eyes roamed all over me, sparkling with joy. “I love you so much,” he said, his voice softer. My heart soared, knowing he meant it. I’d been force-fed those three words for years, thinking control and possession were what defined them, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. Levi taught me that.
“I love you, too.” His kiss was soft and sweet, and I melted for him. “What should we do today?” I asked between kisses. My cheeks hurt from smiling for so long.
His hand ran up my thigh under the covers, curving along my hip, and heat simmered beneath my skin. “I think we should spend the day in bed,” he rasped, nipping at my bottom lip.
Our door flew open that second, and Luke burst into the room like a tornado. “Rise and shine!” That was his latest catchphrase; Levi said it oncefour days ago, and Luke has been saying it nonstop since.
Levi hung his head, his forehead on my shoulder. “Or not,” he laughed.
“There’s always nap time,” I whispered in his ear, biting my lip, and he shot me a little smirk before Luke launched himself at us.
“Good morning, baby,” I cooed, brushing his hair back and kissing him all over his face. Levi joined in and started tickling him. He flopped back on the bed, giggling.
