“What did you do to her?” Creed growled as he came to stand next to us and glare at his older brothers. Both of whom seemed unfazed. Knox looked bored while Keelan had a mischievous glint in his eyes.

“They didn’t do anything,” I said.

“I can see that you’ve been crying, babe,” Colt argued.

“Hormones. They got the best of me. Keelan and Knox cheered me up.” It wasn’t exactly the truth, but it wasn’t exactly a lie, either. Keelan and Knox had cheered me up.

“Hormones?” the twins repeated at the same time, sounding identically skeptical.

I nodded. “Where do you guys want to go to eat?” I asked, changing the subject.

“Don’t suggest fast food,” Knox warned.

The twins looked at their brother. “We know,” they said at the same time again.

“We tried taking her to McDonald’s for lunch one time and she ordered a salad. She and Creed bickered about her food preferences the entire time,” Colt explained, sounding as if it was a tiring memory.

“I guess if she was going to have a weird quirk, it’s at least a healthy one,” Creed said.

“And my butt thanks me every day,” I grumbled.

A smile pulled at Creed’s lips. “You do have a nice ass.”

To everyone else, it was just a compliment, but I knew exactly what he was hinting at. I narrowed my eyes at him. “You said you wouldn’t look.”

He shrugged. “Like you said, everyone looks, and don’t think Colt didn’t, either.”

Colt stilled behind me and his silence spoke louder than words.

“Hold on. Are you two saying you saw Shiloh naked?” Keelan asked. The twins went quiet and my whole body flushed. Keelan frowned a little. “I think I’m jealous.”

Knox rolled his eyes and smacked him on the back of his head. “You’re making her uncomfortable.”

“Why do you care?” Creed asked. “Last night, you pissed her off so much, she almost tried to murder you with a spatula.”

Keelan laughed as he rubbed the back of his head. “I would have paid to see that.”

Knox ignored them and looked at me. “Where are we going to dinner?”

“I don’t know of any good restaurants here yet, but I’m craving enchiladas.”

All them mumbled a name that I assumed was a restaurant.

“Then it’s decided,” Colt said and started pulling me toward the parking lot. “Shiloh’s riding with us,” he shouted over his shoulder at Knox and Keelan.

Saturday morning,I drove to the gym to meet up with Keelan. We were finally going to spar to see how advanced my training was. As I entered the gym, Keelan was sitting at the front desk with Stephanie.

“Do you know what you’re doing for your birthday?” I heard her ask him.

“The same thing as last year. A party at the house,” Keelan replied.

I set my gym bag and picnic basket down at my feet before resting my arms on the tall counter of the large, L-shaped front desk. “A party?”

Keelan’s face lit up when he saw that it was me. “My birthday is in a few weeks. Colt and Creed didn’t tell you?”

“No, they didn’t,” I said, a little sullenly. I wondered why they hadn’t.
