“Very much, but I can’t let you distract me. My pussy needs a break. It’s practically screaming my safeword.”
“Is that so? What if I kiss it a little, make it all better?” He flicked his tongue out and licked his lips.
“Tempting, but I’ve got a date with Pasha and that magnificent ballroom upstairs. I’m going to dust the floor with every inch of my feet.”
“I’m not sure I like your wording. A date with Pasha? Maybe it’s time he and I talked.”
“Alek, don’t. We’ve talked about this before. Pasha is to me like Allison is to you.”
“He fucking better not be. Need I remind you that while I never touched her, I have seen her naked? Pasha ever see you naked?” he demanded before standing and stalking toward me.
My eyes raked over his naked body. God, he was sexy; my eyes lingered on his cock. I didn’t know why, but a mental picture of Allison beneath him hit me. Thank god he never fucked her. I put my hands on my hips.
“Why are you being this way?”
“Maybe because I don’t like the way you’re describing your relationship with the esteemed dancer,” he said, nuzzling me. “Oh, before I forget, Nik texted andsaid if he doesn’t have your list by the middle of the day, he isn’t coming tonight. I suggest you get it done.”
“Yes, Sir. I will,” I mumbled as he let me go.
Chapter 36
Kinsley
Soft & Hard Limits List
A sigh escaped asI hastily gathered my hair to fix my ponytail. Shifting my focus to Pasha, I realized I didn’t have much time. There hadn’t been enough time to prep him, so I wanted to get to him first. Flying down the stairs, I had to apologize to one of the maids as I almost knocked her over.
But as I reached the main floor, I pulled up short. Much to my dismay, Sophia appeared out of nowhere and rushed toward Pasha, who had just been welcomed by the footman. Freezing, I locked eyes with Pasha as she greeted him.
“Mr. Lenkov, I have heard so many great things about you. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” she gushed.
“Thank you, Mrs. King, that is very kind of you,” he said, smiling.
“Please, call me Sophia.” She looped her arm through his. “Kinsley has told us all about the upcoming audition. It’s so amazing that you’re helping her.”
His head tilted to the side, and I widened my eyes, silently pleading with him to go along. “Yes, well, she hardly needs my help, and I’m glad to assist her. She hasn’t quite told me what she has in mind about what number she will do,” he said.
“Wait until you see the majestic ballroom we will be dancing in, Pasha,” I blurted out, unable to contain myself any longer.
A genuine, heartfelt smile graced Sophia’s lips. I was afraid she would be upset from last night’s show, but she didn’t seem to be. Either that, or she had an excellent poker face. I bit the inside of my cheek, thinking if it was the latter, I should probably be guarded.
“Well, lead the way,” he said. I squealed once more, taking his hand and running up the enormous staircase.
“Have fun, you two,” she called out.
“Slow down. It’s not going anywhere,” he exclaimed, laughing at my excitement.
“No, you don’t understand. I’m not even sure majestic describes it accurately,” I said as we stood outside the doors.
Taking a deep breath, I smoothed down my shirt. I opened the doors and watched his face as he took in the space. His excitement was immediate. I clapped my hands together and then grabbed his, twirling around the room until we were both breathless.
We collapsed in the middle of the floor, laughing, and the gesture was so exhilarating and emotional that I burst into tears. He sat up and scooted to my side.
“Mouse, don’t cry,” he said, looking worried, and I laid my head on his shoulder. He waited for me to get myself under control and then tilted my head to his face. “Tell me.”
“I can’t. Just know that no matter where you go, a part of me will always live right here”—I touched his heart—“and right here.” I rubbed his head. “And a part of you will always live here”—I brought his hand to my chest and then moved it to my head—“and here as well.”
“Well, if you come with me, you can live…well, with me.” He laughed, pulling me to my feet. “Now, I suggest you tell me what sort of story you’ve involved me in.”
