“We’re in Vegas.”

I slap his shoulder. “Behave, babe.” I laugh.

 “What’s so funny?”

He breaks away from me and puts his attention on the rest of the group. “Guys, who thinks that Soph and I should get married this weekend?”

My eyes widen. Is he crazy? For one, this is all so sudden - I think he needs to think about it first, but two, this is Jack and Robyn's weekend, and I am not going to hijack it.

I try to pull the arm on his t-shirt, trying to get his attention “Dec, we can’t. What are you doing?”

Robyn speaks up. “We know all about this, honey. Dec has organised it all. It's wonderful and will in no way take anything away from our weekend if that’s what you’re thinking - and I know you, so I know that’s what you'll be thinking,” she grins.

Jack speaks. “I’ve got Dec's suit in my case, and I believe Mia has something in her case for you.”

I spin around to look at Mia and she shrugs. “Come on, you know me, you must have thought it weird that I didn't want to unpack.”

“Bloody hell! Are you kidding me? You have something packed in your case for me to wear at mywedding?” This is the craziest conversation I’ve ever had in my life.

She nods. “I do.” Then she huffs a laugh. “Oh hey, that’s gonna be your line.”

Everyone laughs as I look around at everyone as though they're crazy but start to let it sink in. Declan could be my husband this weekend if I agree to it. Am I out of my mind? Of course I want him to be my husband. I love him - he’s like my dream guy, sure my dream guy with a few nightmares thrown in, but no one is perfect, right? And that would be boring anyway - who wants perfect?

I look at Dec. “Are you sure about this?”

“Fuck yeah, I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life. Be my wife, spend the rest of your life with me starting,” he looks at his watch, “starting in around two hours.”

My eyes go huge. “You've already booked it?”

“Booked and paid for, Denny and Mia are our witnesses. Everyone else wants to come too. After we’re married, we carry on with the hen party and stag weekend tomorrow as husband and wife. What do you say?”

“I say hell yes! Yes, please.”

He grins and grabs me into a hug again.

I can't believe my luck that he’s all mine.

He turns to speak into my ear quietly. “Oh, and you're not sharing with Mia, you're sharing with me.”

Shivers run down my spine as I think about letting my body have what it has been craving for the last two weeks—my Big Guy.
