Disappointment and sadness flood me.

He turns to me and his gaze travels down my body. I have quite a bit of leg on show as my dress has ridden up - I try to pull it down.

“Now now, you didn't seem to mind your dress riding up ten minutes ago when you were letting that guy fuck you like an animal.”

My blood runs cold. “You...you saw?”

“Oh yeah, it was sexy as fuck. I nearly had to choke one out myself watching you, hearing your little noises.”

Nausea washes over me. I am never having sex in a public place again.

“He’s my boyfriend, he’ll be looking for me.”

“Don't worry, I won't keep you long.”

After around five minutes, we drive to a lock-up garage on an industrial estate. He gets out and opens the door for me. I step out and turn to face him. “Don't hurt my dad. I'm sure we can come to some sort of an arrangement.” I plead.

He raises an eyebrow. “What kind of arrangement?”

Ew. “Not that kind, you pervert. I mean a payment plan or something.”

He snorts. “What do you think I am? Lloyds bank. I don't take payment plans, sweetheart.”

“He has no money.”

He leans into my face, his expression dangerous. “He should have thought about that before he ran up a big bill with me.”

He pulls me into the building through a door at the side.

“What now?” I ask.

“You’re going to call him, and when he answers, hand me the phone.”

“I don't have my phone.”

His eyes leave mine and go to the driver who has walked in. He holds out his hand, and the driver hands him what looks to be my phone.

“How did you get that?”

“You should have more care over your belongings. Your friends are wasted; none of them saw me lift it.”

I sigh. Not a chance they noticed.

The main guy hands it to me. “Dial his number and leave the rest to me.”

I don't have any option - I phone the number, and he snatches the phone off me.

When Dad answers, Phoenix smiles. “Well, well, guess who I ran into tonight?”

He presses the speaker button so that I can hear my dad’s voice. “Sophie? What have you done to Sophie? Don't touch her.Pleasedon't hurt her. She has nothing to do with this.”

“Well, actually, she does. She thinks that you're doing so well at GA. Want to tell her the truth, Donald?”

“Please let her go. I’ll sort it, I promise. I'm waiting for the bank to get back to me with an answer on re-mortgaging the house - I will get you your money.”

Dad...what have you done?

“You didn’t think about telling me? You’ve been avoiding my calls. What’s to say that you won't avoid me again? I think the best thing to do is to hold on to your beautiful daughter here until I get my money.”
