She shrugged, her fingers tracing the edge of her clutch. “I’ve never really thought about stuff like this. Submission. Giving up control. It’s not… me.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Never?”
“Never,” she said firmly. Her eyes met mine, a challenge sparking there. “What about you?”
I leaned forward, resting my elbows on my knees. “I could do it. For the right person.”
Her laugh was filled with disbelief. “You? Submissive? Please.”
“Why not?” I asked, my gaze steady on hers. “I’m comfortable enough in who I am to let someone else take the reins. It’s about trust.”
She tilted her head, studying me. “I don’t buy it.”
“You don’t have to,” I said, a smirk tugging at my lips.
Her gaze flicked over my shoulder, landing on a woman who was staring at us. She leaned closer, her voice low. “Stay here.”
Before I could ask what she was up to, she stood and crossed the room, stopping in front of one of the women. A light-skinned, petite twenty-something with hair down to her ass. They exchanged a few words, and then the woman nodded, her eyes darting toward me.
Jordin returned, her expression unreadable as she sat back down.
The woman approached us a few seconds later. She stopped in front of me, her head tilting slightly.
“May I?” she asked, her voice soft, her gaze flicking to Jordin before returning to mine.
I frowned, looking between them. “May you what?”
Jordin answered. “She’s asking for permission to do what I told her to. You said you could be submissive, right?”
My chest tightened, heat creeping up my neck. “What did you tell her?”
Jordin’s smile was slow and wicked. “Agree, and you’ll find out.”
I hesitated, rubbing the back of my neck as my mind raced. But the look in her eyes—a mix of challenge and something darker—was impossible to resist.
“No,” I said, licking my bottom lip. “I’ll only agree if you’re the one giving out the orders.”
Jordin’s smirk deepened. She stepped in a little closer, dragging her nails lightly down my chest. “You sure you want me to do that?”
“Yes,” I nodded, voice low.
She chuckled, soft and dangerous, then reached up to tug at the collar of my shirt. “You gonna do anything I say?”
“Yes. Do your worst, baby.”
She turned to the woman who had been waiting patiently.
“Can you show me how this works, real quick?”
A smile curved her pink lips, and she nodded. “I can do you one better since you’re a VIP. Follow me.”
Jordin and her disappeared through a door near the back of the room. I watched her go, my pulse pounding in my ears.
I was locked in place, barely breathing. Mind racing.
What happened when she came back?
My fingers tapped against my thigh, anxious now. The anticipation was a slow drag, the kind that made a man pace even when he’s sitting still.
