Craig didn’t leave him to tremble on top of the horse for very long, though. Once the beast was tied to the willow tree, Craig’s hands were back on Skyler, helping to dismount, picking him so easily up off of the animal’s back and placing him right onto the cool grass by the water.

“You okay, beautiful?” Craig asked, and Skyler smiled at him, dreamy but focused. For once, not focused on anyone else, but entirely on his own body, on the reactions which Craig had so skillfully wrung from him.

“Oh, yeah,” Skyler breathed, and then, thankfully, Craig was kneeling over him, slowly stripping off his shirt and exploring every tingling inch of it with his rough fingertips. The contrast between the roughness and gentleness of his touch only made Skyler ache more.

“You’re so hard. You need me so much,” Craig whispered, and Skyler might have been ashamed at his own intense response if not for how good this all felt. And there was a tone of wonder in Craig’s voice that made the comment seem less egotistical, like he couldn’t really believe it, either.

Craig’s mouth settled on Skyler’s nipple, tongue swirling around it, lips suckling sweetly, leaving his hands free to continue their journey down. As Skyler kept floating on a delicious sea of need and anticipation, his pants were removed and put aside.

It seemed to take forever, and by the time they were both naked and Craig, who had thankfully brought a condom and even a little packet of lube, was sheathed, Skyler’s whole body was shaking, and he was amazed to hear desperate little whimpers spilling from his lips.

“Are you trying to drive me crazy?” Skyler asked, and Craig grinned at him as he gently parted Skyler’s legs, which Skyler was only too willing to go along with. He had never, in his entire life, been so ready for something. His whole body was pulsing with need, his ass clenching and feeling empty.

“Yeah,” Craig admitted and shot him a brilliant, handsome smile, the tip of his erection brushing over Skyler’s on the way down, over his balls, to nestle between the cheeks of his ass. “Is it working?”

“Yes,” Skyler groaned, his hips rising up off of the ground, trying to impale himself on the man he loved, even if he was driving Skyler absolutely insane. “Now, Craig, or I swear to God …”

All at once, before Skyler could finish that threat or even figure out how he was going to, Craig thrust. Skyler was completely relaxed, completely ready for him, and Craig was so slick with lube, that the other man slid inside of him easily, despite how huge he was. Skyler found himself crying out, right on the edge of utter bliss already, his nails scrabbling at Craig’s back and their legs tangled together as they grappled close.

There was no more teasing. Craig might have tried, but Skyler had successfully been brought to the point where he was having none of it. He was far too worked up, and the moment he had what he wanted, he was fucking himself almost violently on Craig, helplessly whimpering as he struggled to somehow get as close as he possibly could to this man, to merge their bodies completely.

“Oh fuck, Skyler,” Craig whispered, and there was awe in his voice, but Skyler didn’t care. He kept up his frantic movements, at least until Craig finally kissed him hard, then grabbed his arms, pinning them up over his head and holding them there with one strong hand on Skyler’s slender wrists.

Skyler was being too loud, far too loud, but out here in the middle of nowhere, in the dead of night, he didn’t have to worry about it. He let out the almost animalistic moans, and when Craig finally gave him what he needed, when he finally started to plunge hard and deep and fast inside of him, no more games, no more teasing, Skyler felt himself going completely wild for him.

“I love you, I love you,” he whispered, the words falling from his lips, the only ones he could seem to make in the throes of his ecstasy. They moved together in perfect rhythm, as inevitable as the tides, and with neither of them holding back, it all worked so beautifully.

Who came first, Skyler didn’t even know. Maybe him, maybe Craig. Actually, he sort of thought that they probably came at the exact same time. All he knew was that he felt Craig’s dick twitching inside him at the same time as he was spilling his own release all over his cock and stomach, and for a moment, he really did feel like he and Craig had managed to do the impossible and become the same person.

And for that one moment, everything felt perfect.

Fourteen

Craig

Hopefully, Skyler knew what a big deal it was that Craig was coming to this wedding. He had the idea that Skyler, who was often incredibly observant, did know, which was part of why Craig was willing to do it at all.

To appear in public with another man and to say, yes, we’re together, that was a big deal. Especially since Skyler had told him that his mother and sister weren’t even expecting Craig at the wedding, they were expecting Jessica. Skyler had said that he intended to pull his sister aside and explain the situation to her. Maybe something could be arranged. And if not, Craig would still get to be close to Skyler, and explore Seattle, the city where his lover had grown up.

It seemed worth it to him.

Jessica was a big part of the issue, though. Craig didn’t actually care that much what Skyler’s family, except for his sister, Hannah, thought of him. He didn’t think much of parents who would basically kick their own son out when it came down to it.

But Jessica was Derrick’s ex, and still a close friend. So it was a bit scary to go with her and Skyler, even though he and Skyler had decided that she didn’t need to have anything explained to her. But she wasn’t an idiot, and he could see in her eyes that she knew exactly what was going on. It was pretty obvious, really, since Jessica had her own hotel room, but Skyler and Craig were sharing one.

But she didn’t say anything, and her smile was encouraging when she gave it. She really was a remarkable woman, but then, she had been there in support of Malcolm and Kyle getting married and had never even faltered in that support. It didn’t seem to be an issue at all.

The world would be a better place, Craig mused, if more people were like Jessica. Although how she would be if she knew that Derrick, her ex, was flirting with a man? Or whatever was going on between Logan and Derrick. It was obvious, even to someone as oblivious as Craig, that something was.

Craig faced Skyler, and though the smaller man’s face was normally pretty calm, it was twisted with worry at the moment. It was subtle, and Craig suspected that most people wouldn’t even recognize it, but he flattered that he was becoming something of an expert on Skyler interpretation.

“We don’t need to do this,” Craig assured him. “If you don’t want to talk to your sister about what we are, I’m fine with that. Just give me some time in Seattle before we go back and I’ll consider this trip worth it.”

Skyler shook his head, looking up at Craig in their shared hotel room.

“I’m not ashamed of you,” Skyler replied, and Craig felt a dull flush of shame, because despite everything, despite being head over heels in love with this man, he was a little ashamed. Not of Skyler, not really, but of his own feelings.

“Hannah is getting married in a few days, so she probably doesn’t have much time today,” Skyler continued, as if unaware of Craig’s inner turmoil, “We’ll have to be quick.”
