Craig

It had been a while since he and Skyler had gone drinking at the river. In point of fact, it had been three weeks, two days, and twelve hours. Give or take, of course. Not that he was counting.

The point was, Skyler probably wasn’t going to come crawling into Craig’s bed anytime soon. Whatever insanity had happened between them was just that. A crazy thing that had happened once and was never going to happen again no matter how many times Craig lay in bed, his body throbbing with need, his hand wrapped around his cock and his eyes squeezed tightly closed as he jerked himself to completion.

He had literally lost track of how many times he had done that since he and Skyler had touched each other. Since he’d had Skyler trapped under him, felt his sweet, strong hand wrapped around his throbbing dick.

It had been at least once a night. Sometimes, when he couldn’t sleep, more than once. He hadn’t been this sexually aware in years. Normally, it was more of a thing where he could get himself off, and if that weren’t good enough, he would find someone to play with. That had always worked.

But, while he knew it would be easy to walk into any bar and walk out with a girl, and while it would only be a little bit harder to find a man, he didn’t want that. The more he had of Skyler, the more he wanted.

He had to face facts as he lay on his back, groaning softly so that no one would hear, his hand wrapped around the length of his thick, swollen, hot dick. He was covered in his own precome, but his body was just refusing to give him what he wanted. He needed Skyler. Not anyone else, not his own hand, but Skyler. He had been able to deny it for a while, but his own hand just wasn’t doing it for him anymore.

It was sort of hell, and he swung his legs out of bed, walking through the room to gaze moodily out the window. It was late at night, so late that he was the only person in the world, as far as he could tell. His erection pulsed between his legs, tempting him to try to get himself off again, but he knew it was futile, so he did his best to ignore it.

A walk might be a good idea. A really good idea, actually. Or a run. Anything to get some of this energy out of his system. He obviously wasn’t going to be sleeping at this point, so he might as well do something.

Just as he was turning away, intending to find a pair of sweats to tug on, he caught a flash of movement in the moonlight. It was a bright night, the moon close enough to full that it was drowning out even the brightest stars, or else Craig might have missed it completely.

A small figure slipped from the house, making its way with silent grace across the back yard.

There wasn’t even a moment where Craig doubted who it was. He knew. It was the posture, perhaps, the way that the head was flung back to gaze at the moon. It was Skyler. Even when he was facing away from Craig, and even in the darkness and the distance between them, Craig knew.

How pathetic was it, really, that he should be so completely enthralled with this man that he could know him anywhere?

Skyler walked, and Craig fought with himself. Skyler had had every chance to come to him if he wanted to. But he hadn’t. How much more pathetic did Craig want to be?

Only it was a moot point because he was already turning away, reaching for the sweats and pushing his long legs into them. He didn’t bother with anything else, no shirt, no underwear. His intention, honestly, was clear even then.

If he had any say in the matter, he was going to get Skyler to do something about his cock, which hadn’t gone down at all, no matter how much he ignored it. Pride be damned. If Skyler were willing, Craig would go for it.

Which was odd for him, usually, he picked up on the signals that he got from other men, and went for it when they made it clear they wanted him. This was new territory for him, to want someone to the point where he didn’t care about much else.

It took seconds to slip out of the house, and this part of the land was completely flat. There were some low hills in the distance, though, and Skyler was heading for that. Craig could easily make out his slender figure, and he followed him, his long legs eating up the distance between them. Skyler wasn’t rushing, and it was easy to catch up with him.

It was a still, warm night, and so late that even the bugs had gone to sleep. There wasn’t even the faintest hint of a breeze, and while Craig wasn’t trying to be loud, he also wasn’t trying to hide his approach. Skyler heard him and turned around to watch, but his back was to the moon, and it shone brightly around him so that Craig couldn’t see the other man’s face.

And that made it a particularly terrifying thing for him to walk toward this man. Who was still showing him no signs of interest, who seemed to mostly exist in his own world, so that Craig couldn’t tell if it was just that Skyler wasn’t interested or if he was just so busy in his own head that it was hard to break him out of it?

Skyler had been more than willing when they had been together by the river, though, and that gave Craig the courage he needed to walk up to him, to reach for him before either of them had said a word. He cupped the other man’s cheek in his hand, stroked his thumb over that sturdy, strong cheekbone, and looked down into the beautiful man’s face.

Such a study in contradictions, this man. So gorgeous, almost beautiful, but in a purely masculine way, despite the round green eyes and the sweet, full-lipped mouth. A strong jaw, lovely bone structure in general, small but not delicate. Craig was utterly enthralled every time he looked at him.

It wasn’t clear to Craig who moved first. He was bending down, and Skyler was arching up on his tiptoes, lessening the distance between their lips, and he had no idea who started it. It would have been much easier if he had.

They kissed, and it set off the same explosions through Craig’s entire body as it had the first time they’d been together. It was a light, testing kiss, at least at first, but Craig had already been worked up, and he was too impatient to keep it that way.

It was so easy to sweep this man into his arms, to pull him close, to let him feel the urgency of his desire. So easy to grip his round, beautiful ass by both cheeks, and heft him up so that they were on the same level and could more easily explore each other’s mouths.

Skyler locked his legs around Craig’s waist, and that, at least, felt like a sign. He rarely knew what was going on in that pretty head. Skyler was pretty much an enigma to him. But every so often, he gave a sign of what he wanted, and they meant even more, those signs, because of their rarity.

Skyler was not a heavy burden for Craig, not at all. His weight was solid but slight enough that he could have carried him for miles. And when he became aware of the bulge growing in Skyler’s pants, the bulge which throbbed against Craig’s bare stomach, it was the easiest thing in the world to turn away from the house and walk, still holding the other man, still groping his ass.

There were a series of low, rolling hills. It wasn’t much shelter, but it would block them from the house, and it was a warm night. As late as it was, no one would disturb them. They were completely safe, on this warm spring night, in a way that they wouldn’t be in the house.

When they were hidden from the house but open to the universe spinning by slowly overhead, Craig knelt down and placed Skyler gently on the ground. With the other man’s slender body between his legs, he gazed down in rapt wonder at his beauty, his features silvered by the moon.
