Because the question lands somewhere I didn’t expect. The thing is…part of me is tempted.

I glance between them.

Three men I’ve known for less than seventy-two hours, but somehow I’ve been pulled into their orbit like I’ve been circling them for years.

All of them older, wiser, steadier.

All of them wealthy enough that handing me a few grand every so often wouldn’t even register in their bank accounts.

And in return?

I’m not naïve about my own appeal.

I’ve seen the way they’ve looked at me when they think I’m not watching.

Wouldn’t I be stupid not to at least consider it?

They’d get what they wanted, I’d get what I needed. No one loses.

The thought hangs in the air, dangerous and sweet, and makes my toes curl.

I can feel the corners of my mouth tug upward before I can stop it.

“Well,” I say finally, meeting Reece’s gaze head-on, “if you’re offering…I’ll take you up on it.”

HOLLY

Before either of them can get a word out, Jack moves.

It’s not a casual shift in his chair, it’s a deliberate move that cuts my line of sight to the other two entirely, his broad frame blocking them out, shielding me.

“You don’t need to do something like that. You don’t need to—” He stops, his jaw flexing as he works the next few words over.

Eventually, he just exhales through his nose and lets them drop. “What you said, whore yourself out to get your bills paid.”

I frown, my arms coming up to cross over my chest.

“That’s not what this would be. Frankly, Iwantwhat’s being offered. You’re all incredibly hot.”

He stares at me like I’ve lost my damn mind.

“You don’t know what you’re saying, Holly. This”—he jerks his chin toward Liam and Reece—“is wrong. You’re our best friend’s daughter. You remember that right?”

I tip my head slightly, my eyes narrowing.

“Does that really matter when I hardly ever see him? Come on, Jack. You can’t tell me you think he’s a good dad.”

He frowns deeply.

“What’s the real reason you don’t want this to happen? Because you think I can’t handle it? Or because you don’t like the idea of me wanting them both?” I ask.

“Liam’s already gone too far as it is. You don’t need to be adding Reece to the mix. This all ends right now.”

“She already said she wants it, so why do we keep arguing?” Liam says.

My eyes meet his again, nodding. “I do want it. I want both of you.”
