Gracie helped me pick it. It took us forever to choose the perfect one.

But if she doesn’t like it, I’ll get her another one.

I look up from the ring and see tears streaming down her cheeks. She’s nodding, staring at me not the ring.

“Is that a yes, sunshine?” I ask this time, not acknowledging the fact that I told her to be my wife, not asked.

She doesn’t get to say no. But I’d rather she choose to say yes.

“Yes, Roman. Yes!” she chokes out between tears.

I put the ring on her finger, but she still has yet to look at it.

She launches herself into my arms, shaking with sobs.

“I love you, Cecilia. And I’ll love you all the more as my wife,” I tell her, squeezing her to me.

“I love you too, my soon-to-be husband,” she says with a bright smile.

My world shifts at the word.Husband. I’m going to be her husband. She’s going to be my wife.My wife.

She pulls back just enough to kiss me. I lean down, meeting her lips.

It starts as a sweet, loving kiss. It’s slow as we explore each other. As we taste each other. As we feel the love between us.

But what starts out innocently, quickly turns heated.

She pushes at my shirt, and I pull it over my head, not bothering to unbutton it. I start gathering her dress, ready to rid her of it, but she glances behind us at the windows of the mansions.

“What if someone sees?” she asks timidly, even as she unbuckles my belt.

“No one’s here. I rented the whole property for the night,” I assure her.

She’s out of her damn mind if she thinks I’d ever risk someone seeing her naked. Seeing her pleasure. Seeing her at all, damn it.

We quickly undress each other, then I crawl down her body to get her ready. I’m greeted with wetness.

I pull down her panties and lap her up. I keep going until her back bows off the ground. Until she’s screaming my name. Until she’s begging for my cock.

We take it slowly, savoring every thrust. Memorizing each moment.

When she squeezes around me, falling over the edge, I follow suit, unable to resist my goddess. I lean down and capture her lips with mine, feeling her screams of pleasure reverberate through my mouth.

And when we part, I clean her with her panties, and put them to the side, saving them. I don’t need to use my stock of panties that often now that we live together, but old habits die hard.

I hear a gasp and look over to see her staring at her ring.

Her eyes are wide, her right hand covers her mouth, and more tears well.

“Roman, I have no words. It’s beautiful. Oh, it’s perfect,” she whispers. “It’s fit for a princess.”

“No, it’s fit for a goddess. My goddess of sunshine. It’s fit for you,” I tell her as I kiss her gently.

Everything in the world feels perfect.
