"In a way, yes. More alcohol, less magic, but pretty much," he said.

"Can I come with you? I'd love to watch you in your element."

He stopped and raised an eyebrow. "Did you say you want to watch me?"

I smirked. "Yeah, that too."

He laughed and threw a towel at me.

"Sure. Come on. If you’re gonna go out into civilization you should probably wash up first.”

"I like the way you think," I stood and pulled him by the hand out of the bedroom and into the bathroom.

"Oh. I didn’t mean together," he said.

"Why not?"

“Because if I go into a shower with you I’ll be late.”

“I thought your house existed outside of time and space.”

He shrugged. "Yeah, but it doesn't work that way, unfortunately."

“How does it work?” I asked, dragging him into the shower that already had hot water running just for us.

“I…it…” he started but I got down on my knees and took his soft cock in my mouth and he lost the ability to speak as he grew harder inside me. “I’m…gonna be…so late…” he groaned.

We were, but seeing as he ran the place, it didn't really matter. I let him do his thing and sat at the bar watching him make drinks. Just like at home, he froze time more than he didn’t and still everyone was more than happy with their drinks.

He was truly a magnificent creature, and I couldn't help but think he was the right person to drag me out of my self-induced wallowing lasting over thousands of years.

I watched him make magical potions for everyone who walked through those doors, and he kept supplying me with my very own concoctions that messed up my mind, warmed my heart, and soothed my soul. Wasn’t that the perfect cocktail?

A couple of hours later, a man in a suit walked up to the bar and grabbed Drew's attention. He was a tall white man with messy black hair, thick, sexy eyebrows and a gaze that ate Drew up as if he was a snack.

A growl escaped my lips and both Drew and the stranger turned to look at me.

"Are you okay?" Drew asked.

"I'm fine," I said, staring at the stranger.

Drew bit his lip and leaned in, breaking my line of sight. "Are you jealous?" he whispered.

"Me? Jealous? Of what?”

He didn’t answer. He laughed and went back to serve the attractive man.

When he’d made his drink, a deep dark red concoction that appeared eerily similar to the one he’d made for me at home, he leaned on the bar, turned his back to me and focused on the stranger.

"What's your name, handsome?" he asked and I could picture him being all hot and seductive liked he’d been in bed when he was fucking me.

"I'm Ethan," the guy said, taking the drink in his hands.

Even though I couldn’t see most of Drew, I could see Ethan’s fingers lingering over Drew’s as he tried to take the glass from him.

It lasted a second, two seconds, maybe more. A growl threatened to come out again.

"Nice to meet you, Ethan. I'm Drew, and the man in the corner there giving you the death stares is Sett.” He tipped his head back in my direction and I finally saw the playful smile plastered on his face.
