“Probably because I don’t have the hormones rushing through me like you do,” he chuckles.

“This isn’t funny,” I snarl.

“I mean, it is. Just a little bit.” He laughs. “Who would have thought this is how our lives would end up, huh?”

“What do we do?” I ask honestly, not sure what the next step in all of this should be.

“Ally and Lulu said we join our packs. Seems like a good idea to me.”

“We don’t even know them.” I narrow my eyes. “Have you forgotten where we come from? Dad would kill us for just blindly agreeing to something so big without thinking it over.”

“We might not have met these people in person before, but you know damn well we know every bit of information you could find on them. I saw the folders, Brady.” He raises a brow.

“Okay, fine,” I grumble. “Yeah, when Lulu told us about Ally, I made sure to find out everything I could about her and the people in her life.”

“So you know they’re not bad people,” Gavin says.

“Liam’s old pack is in jail because they kidnapped a fucking Omega,” I snarl.

He rolls his eyes. “His old pack. Not him.”

“Still. I don’t like this.” I shake my head, starting to pace the room. “I like our quiet little life. I like waking up next to Lulu every morning, going into the shop, getting my fingers dirty while fixing cars, then coming home to the clubhouse to shoot the shit with my family. This–” I wave around the room. “Isn’t what I want for my life.”

“You know how this works, Brady. We don’t get to choose. The fact is that this is the life your Omega lives. She’s famous. You can’t be away from her, not unless you want to cause her pain.”

“Fuck no,” I snarl. “I might have said some mean things, but just the idea of her hurting makes me want to rip the world apart.”

Gavin grins. “And that’s the reason why we’re going to have to make this work. Not to mention, our Omega is scent matched to Liam. Who lives the same kind of life as Ally by default. So either way, we’re going to have to make this work. For both Omegas.”

“I don’t want to share Lulu,” I growl. The idea of another man’s hands on her that aren’t my brother’s makes me want to murder someone.

“Too bad, brother, because that Alpha is hers. Just like he’s Ally’s.”

“Fuck.” I spin around and punch the wall, rage filling me, and regret immediately follows. “Damn it!” I shake out my hand.

“You done throwing your little tantrum?” Nate asks as he comes back into the room.

“Probably not,” Gavin chuckles.

“I hate you,” I growl to Gavin.

“Love you too, brother.” He winks.

“Who are you and what do you have to do with Ally and Liam?” I demand. I know he’s their manager, but never has it been said anywhere that he was involved with either of them, yet it seems like he is, from how Ally was acting.

“I’m Nate Wilder. Ally and the band’s manager.” He shoves his hands in his pockets. “And you are?” he asks, raising a brow.

“I’m Gavin, and this is my brother, Brady. We’re Lulu’s Alphas,” my brother answers.

“That much I’ve assumed. And going off the cuts you're wearing, I’m gonna say you’re a part of an MC.”

“That gonna be an issue?” I growl low.

“Not exactly. But it does mean we’re going to have to work hard to keep that bit of information out of the media as long aswe can. Not sure that’s gonna work, seeing how there’s always eyes on Ally and you two are about to spend a lot of time with her. But we’ll deal with that later. That's PR’s job. Mine is to make sure Ally is taken care of.”

“Thought that was Liam’s job?” I ask, narrowing my eyes.

“It is.” He grins. “We both work hard to make sure Ally is safe and taken care of.”
