“No we’re not,” Liam assures me as he helps me back in my panties. “Sit here and wait, I’ll be right back.” He gets to his feet and tucks himself away, doing up his jeans before spinning around to kiss me on the forehead.

I’m a wreck as I wait for him to come back, my leg bouncing and heart racing. This moment went from one of the best in my life to one of the worst.

It feels like a lifetime before the door opens and Liam steps back in. “Come on, baby, let’s get out of here.” He holds out his hand.

I take it, letting him pull me off the ride. My eyes stay downcast at the ground as we head out to the main part of the park.

“Liam.” I pull him to stop. “Liam, what's going on?”

Liam pulls us off to the side and out of everyone's way. He does a look around before his attention turns back to me. “Everything is okay. They’re not going to call the cops.”

“How do you know?”

“Because I called Nate and Nate called the people who manage the park and explained the situation. They said as long as we leave before something like this happens again, we’re fine.”

“Really?” My eyes fill with surprise.

He nods. “I want to say I’m sorry about all of that, but I’m really not.” He laughs in disbelief.

“I can’t believe we just did that.” My hand goes to my neck, my new mate mark still throbbing, but the pain is more pleasure than anything else.

The smile falls from Liam’s face, and I can tell he feels guilty. We were in the heat of the moment, things happen.

“Come on. We have to meet the others.” Liam takes my hand and leads me away.

Now it’s my turn to feel guilty. The sun is only now just setting and I know they haven’t gotten to do everything they wanted.

My heat has cut this day short and that’s exactly what I didn’t want to happen.

“Hey.” Liam tucks me under his arm. “I can feel your stress. Everything is going to be okay.”

“Yeah,” I murmur, hoping he’s right.

Once we reach the rest of our pack, all I want to do is cry. So many hormones are rushing through my body and I just want to feel them naked against me.

“Can we go home?” I whimper as I rush over to Ally.

“What’s wrong?” Ally asks. “Fucking hell,” she groans in pleasure as she smells my perfume. “Baby, you're in heat, aren't you?”

I nod against her neck.

“That would explain getting knotted together on the Hogwarts Express,” Nate chuckles. “You do know, that's not how that ride works, right?”

“Fuck you,” Liam chuckles.

“Pretty sure it was Lulu you were fucking just then.”

How are they just so easily joking about this? I ruined the night.

“Lulu, baby.” Ally cups my face. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m sorry.” Tears fill my eyes, feeling more sensitive than I normally am.

“What for?” Ally’s brows furrow.

“For ruining the night.”

“You didn’t ruin anything.” Brady steps forward. “Baby Girl, you're in heat. That's more important. Don’t feel bad about—” His brows furrow, locking on my neck before snapping up to Liam. “Did you mark her?”
