She lived in a world of her own with only him. Nothing else existed except feeling him inside her and holding her. He wrapped her in ecstasy and something much deeper. Something she couldn’t put to words, or it would ruin everything.
She’d cherish the gift of this moment.
One she wished would last forever.
Her body had no bones left. It couldn’t possibly with her this loose and relaxed.
Holding her with an arm around her waist, he rolled to the side, taking her with him.
Her arms flopped. Her muscles were noodles.
He chuckled.
Still inside her, he brushed the hair off her face and pecked soft kisses on her cheek and neck. “You blew my mind.”
She smiled. He’d done all the work this time.
Thistime?
Were they going to do this again?
Her mind was wrung dry. Some days, she wanted to climb out of her skin and see what it felt like to live as other women lived. He’d managed to do the impossible and stop her racing thoughts.
He’d made her happy in her own skin.
She’d give him his due. “You were as good as you claimed. Apro.”
“I was talking about my massage skills,” he clarified. “Making love to you was ... no words to describe it. Never came that hard in my life.” He smooched her again.
How was it he could makeherfeel like a superstar? “Mine was pretty bloody special, too.”
He’d called it making love.
The few times she’d been intimate in the past, no one had made love to her. Not like this. She’d felt everything Sam did down to her center and not because he was an exceptional lover.
Sam cared for her on some level that scared her to think about. Why? She cared for him too. He put himself into lovemaking.
She felt his lips smile when he kissed the back of her neck and nuzzled her. Snuggling back closer to him cocooned her in his heat. He dragged the sheet over them, and his arm wrapped her up, once again keeping her safe.
How would she ever feel this way with anyone else?
She wouldn’t. Sam had climbed inside her very being and set up camp, daring anyone to remove him.
It wouldn’t be her.
She was replaying making love with him one minute and asleep the next.
