The curtains in my room were automatically set to open up by 10:00 am. I'm usually up and out of bed way before then, so they never disturb my sleep. Ciara was facing the other direction, so the sun wasn't beaming in her face as it was mine. The positive from her positioning is that she had that fat soft ass on my hip. Her body was so warm, I didn't want to get my ass up.I'm sure it felt like Alaska in this bitch.

With my eyes squinted, I grabbed the remote to the window to close the blinds back. After that, I grabbed my phone from the nightstand beside my bed to see what calls I needed to return.

Of course, there were several calls from Cashmier's phone. I never meant not to check on her at all last night. I just got caught up here with Ciara. At the end of the day, there was only so much that I could do or say to make Cashmier feel better. I can't bring her father back, and even if I could, I wouldn't.

I opened the first message.

Cashmier:I want to know that you are okay. Please come back here. I need you.

I set my phone on the nightstand because texting back would be of no use now. I will go over there at some point today. Just not in a rush to have to fake and shake with anyone.

Before I got out of bed, I turned over to hug Ciara one last time. I pulled her in closer to my body and she fit next to me like a puzzle.

Never in my life have I ever had a bitch making me moan and shake like a bitch, so I can admit she now has me even more wrapped around her finger. Good head wasn't a requirement for me when I met her, but that was a hell of a bonus to her already perfect resume. Everything about our forming relationship was right. Well, everything except the fact that I have a child on the way that I have not told her about yet.

Stepping out of bed into my house slippers, I went into the restroom to take a piss. After filling the toilet and flushing, I went to the sink to start brushing, flossing, and rinsing my mouth. This was the longest part of my daily routines, and having perfect ass teeth didn't come to me without work. My mama instilled in me when I was a kid that my teeth were the most perfect part of my body, so I was flossing at two years old. It's mad crazy to think that she was so particular about how she was raising me, but gave her life away over a nigga. I wish someone had taught her right from wrong and given her pointers to make her feel so strong that she could never be weak for a man. Shit, I will do for my future daughter.

When my phone lit up from the counter, I saw it was Scotty calling, which could be either a good or bad call, depending on what he wanted. No matter what, he gets answered on the first ring. Him and Crew.

"Yo, what up?"

"Shit, chilling in the spot. Kicking back watching Saved By The Fuckin Bell."

"Ihaven't seen that shit in forever."

"Yeah, me neither, but I like this money watching shit. I haven't had to really do shit in days because niggas ain't trying shit. With facetiming those bad ass kids and hanging up when they start getting on my fuckin nerves, life is good."

"Yeah, I hear that, my nigga."

I laughed at his ass.

"But anyway. I got an address for the chick in the picture that you were looking for. She lives in Eastchester Gardens."

"Do we have an exact location?"

"Yeah, I called Dana's homegirl, who lives over there, and she said that this Regina woman stays in the building next to her. Building 1, first unit on the right when you come up the stairs."

"Alright, bet, appreciate you."

"Anytime my nigga."

I was about to hang up the phone when something crossed my mind. Scotty once again came through as he was supposed to, and for this shit alone, he deserved to be recognized.

"Yo, Scotty, when you get off duty over there, I'm going to send you and your family to Disney World on me. I'm going to pay for everything down to the shoes you wear on the trip."

"Ahh man, thanks bro, I really appreciate it, but I don't think I would ever put them on a plane. Those fuckers are terrorists."

He made me laugh.

"So, send us to Coney Island with a hotel and some good weed, and we will act like it's Disneyland."

"Say no more, bro. I got you."

I chuckled before we got off the phone.

After finishing up in the bathroom and getting dressed, I put on some gym shorts and a plain white T-shirt, then headed downstairs to the sidewalk. The only thing on my mind right now is getting Krispy Kreme, and the one by the penthouse always had a FRESH DONUTS sign glowing in the window.

The second I pushed through those doors, the scent inside hit me in the face, and the sweet smell took me back to my childhood when my only problem was choosing between glazed and chocolate.
