It was also likely less than twenty percent of what the dealers made. Alec estimated over a million dollars of drug deals happened on the floors of my properties.

The only thing I could do last night was immediately implement a moratorium on selling in the club until I could find the cause.

The sellers wouldn’t be happy with the business cut off, but it gave them incentive to fix their shit as soon as fucking possible.

If it was negligence, it could be cleaned up—with consequences. If it was intentional, heads would roll. If it was the Italians, there would be fucking hell to pay.

I had sent out a message to all our contacts informing them of the change before heading upstairs.

Home.

The penthouse had been quiet, but I could see the light in Ciel’s room. Rather than saying hello, I decided to brush my teeth and crash. I could catch up with my brothers after a decent night’s sleep.

I slept deeply, dreaming of that red-haired vixen keeping me entertained all night. By the time I woke up around 2 pm, my “morning” wood was in full swing, which I took care of quickly before rolling out of bed and cleaning up in a nice hot shower.

Maybe I’d see her again at the club, but I highly doubted it, which suited me just fine.

I preferred to play without being tied down. Chance encounters kept me sated until the next one. When I wanted a good lay, I sought one out. Simple and easy.

I filed awayred-haired vixenin my spank bank for periodic revisiting and moved on with my life.

After pulling on a pair of sweatpants, I grabbed my favorite gun for some quiet maintenance time to calm my head and headed out into the kitchen for breakfast. I was fuckingstarving, and there was nothing better than enjoying a cup of coffee, some eggs, and cleaning the inner mechanics of my Sig Sauer.

“Wynn! You home?” I shouted into the house. My youngest brother was usually working out if he wasn’t completing a contract. Obi had texted to check in this morning, so I knew he still wasn’t home. And I figured Ciel was sleeping.

No answer. I shrugged as I pulled out the milk, eggs, and toast from the fridge. More time to myself and my gun.

I got to work on the food. Here at Cafe Ryuji, we served breakfast all day, no matter what time the clock read. It was the best fucking meal of the day.

I whistled as I plopped my scrambled eggs and toast on my plate. Maybe I’d take the rest of the day off today. Obi could wait a while longer before I selected another contract. It had been a few days since I’d visited my other club properties anyway.

Acreakbehind me had my head spinning, a grin on my face. “Wynn?—”

But it wasn’t my brother. It was a woman.

A red-haired vixen.

The smile fell off my face as I dropped my plate and reached for my gun. In less than a second, I had the safety flicked off, and the gun pointed directly at her chest.

Images from the previous night flashed before my eyes. Her tracker. Her weapons. The way she disappeared from the club after I’d eaten her out on my couch.

Last night, it had turned me on.

Today, it caused blaring alarms in my head.

“Oh shit,” she said, eyes wide and locked on the gun pointed at her chest. She took a hesitant step backward but froze when my finger moved to the trigger. “Wait?—”

“Who thefuckare you?” I demanded.

“Wait, just let me explain—” she said, hands raised in front of her. She wore black leggings and a black workout shirt. Her hair was pulled back in a high ponytail, a slight sheen of sweat covered her forehead, and she wore no shoes or socks. Why the hell did she look like she fuckingownedthe place, and I was the intruder?

“What the hell are you doing here?” I said as I stalked closer. “Did you follow me? Are you a spy?”

My mind started flipping through all my enemies and who would have the balls to send someone after me. Even I couldadmit sending a woman to do the job was brilliant. It was no secret that I liked to fuck around with anybody willing, but today wasnotgoing to be the day I found out.

“No, Ryu?—”

She knew my name. She knew who I was, meaning she knew who I was last night. More alarm bells blared. “If you don’t want me to shoot you directly in the heart, get the hell out of my house. Now!”
