Kaori was still at my crib knocked the fuck out because she had come to spend the night with me for the past couple of nights, but I was up with the chickens on a mothafuckin’ mission. I hadn’t forgot that nigga pushed up on my bitch, putting hands on her and shit. I for sure wasn’t letting the shit slide. Scoot had to hunt the nigga’s whereabouts down for me because he moved around so much with different hoes. I ain’tsee how he did the shit. Shit was a task handling my business and keeping up with one chick, let alone multiple.
Kaori and I had plans to go to her grandmother’s for dinner later so I could meet her and formally meet her mother. Then tomorrow I would ride with her to meet her pops. She was nervous as shit about it, but I was cool. I kept telling her ass that shit, but she was still antsy as fuck.
“He over here with his right hand man and cousins.”
Frowning and glancing his way, I asked, “I’m supposed to be shook or some shit?”
“Naw.” He grinned. “Just don’t go out there and get ya ass kicked.”
“Fuck out of here, nigga.” I laughed, turning on the street.
“I’m just saying, bro. Don’t get out here and embarrass me.”
“Shut yo’ ass up, Elijah.”
“Oh hell naw.” He chortled as I parked. “Chill with the fucking government shit.”
I didn’t even bother to respond to him. We were at the crib Kaori’s ex was at and a nigga was on one. Reaching under my seat, I grabbed my pistol and tucked it in my back before climbing out of my car. The nigga I was looking for was already stood in the driveway on the phone so that was perfect for me.
As I made my way into the yard, I heard mothafuckas asking was that me and the ones that were sure spoke but I said nothing because I wasn’t there for that shit. The nigga looked all confused and I heard him end the call as I neared, then pocketed his phone.
“Smoke?”
“You touched my girl at the mall the other day?” I asked, getting straight to the point.
His brows furrowed. “You girl?”
“You heard me nigga,” I spat. “Kaori. You grabbed her the other day, right?”
“KK?” he asked incredulously. “Naw, I was just asking her something,” he lied.
“You heard of me, ain’t it bro?” I quizzed. “Like you might not personally know me but ya pussy ass cousins do, right?” I pointed behind him toward the two niggas that hadn’t moved an inch from the porch they were sitting on.
I served both of them and had beat both of their asses when we were in grade school, so they knew how I gave it up. The nigga in front me of couldn’t have been from here because if he was, he would know I’m at the top of the list of niggas not to fucking play with.
“I mean, yeah, but…”
“Naw,” I cut him off. “Ain’t no fuckin’ buts, my nigga. Don’t ever play with me nigga, and don’t play with my girl no more. I don’t play games, bro, deadass.”
“Bro, I was just?—”
I cut him off as I walked closer to him. “Naw, don’t play with my girl period, at all my nigga, I don’t play like that. I don’t rock like that. I thump behind…” Unable to control it, I hit him in his shit. “I get active behind mine, what’s up?” I tossed my guard up. “What you trying to do? What’s up?”
“Man, I wasn’t?—”
“Nigga, what’s up? Do something!”
Like the hoe ass nigga he was, he threw his arms up to block the hits he thought were coming, but I retreated. I had no desire to beat a nigga that clearly wasn’t gon’ fight back.
“Smoke, I swear, man…”
“I don’t want to talk, nigga,” I barked, heading back to my car fuming. “I don’t want to hear none of that shit. Don’t play with my fuckin’ girl period, my nigga. Beat the fuck out ya lil scary ass.”
“You act like I knew she was yo’ girl.”
“Now you know, nigga, and know I clutch ’bout mine,” I spat. “Don’t fuck around and find out how I got my mothafuckin’ name.”
I didn’t know if I was more pissed that he had actually pushed up on Kaori, questioning her and shit, grabbing her, or because he was a bitch. It had been a while since I beat a nigga’s ass because most niggas knew I wasn’t the nigga to play with, so I thought today was my lucky day.
