A smile curved my lips but I was too breathless and sated to say anything.

Christian pulled out of me and laid his head on the pillow beside me. Still breathing heavily, he grabbed my hand and twined his fingers with mine.

I loved that he still wanted to touch me after doing all that.

That was the best quickie I’d had in a long time. Well, I’d actually come, so maybe it was the best quickie I’d ever had.

Staring at the ceiling, an impish smile flirted with my lips.

“That’s definitely the best way I’ve started my day in a while.”

Rico’s sleep-thickened voice covered us in the aftermath of what we did. Lazily, I turned my head and caught his eyes on me.

Amusement and desire greeted me. But no jealousy. He just looked happy that I was happy.

I could get used to this.

 “Good morning, baby,” he whispered.

I still reeled every time the pet name slipped from his tongue.

 “Morning, Rico.”

I blinked sleepily, eyes latched on him as he moved closer to us.

Christian said nothing beside me, but he kept his fingers locked with mine, unfazed by Rico’s advance.

“Christian fuck that pretty pussy right?”

He was close enough to kiss my temple, and he did.

“Yes,” I breathed, inhaling his woodsy scent as if I hadn’t spent all night breathing it in.

“Then open your legs.” He trailed his hand over my face. “Let me see.”

 Sweetest Thing

I swore the steam from Soul’s shower was still rolling off him when he found me on the balcony that night and came to sit beside me on our favorite chair.

The mosquito net was down, enclosing the balcony, a blunt was lit, and now I had a piece of my heart in my arms.

There were worse ways to end my day.

Having a full house was spoiling me. I’d spent half of my day with Harlow until she left for the amphitheater to meet her mom. Then Christian made us dinner, and we ate together before he left for the bar an hour ago. Now…this. I didn’t know what the hell I was gonna do if any of them ever left. The thought alone made my chest hurt.

“Missed you today,” Soul confessed, his lips seeking mine before he kissed me.

All the tension left his body when I grabbed his face to kiss him back.

Smiling against my mouth, he traced his tongue over my bottom lip then left soft bites in his wake.

“Missed you too. You left so early.” I passed the blunt to him.

Soul didn’t speak again until he hit it twice. Then he passed it back to me, coughing into the crook of his elbow.

“Today was so hectic,” he said, settled back against me. The soft rumble of his voice vibrated through me, filling me with warmth. “I had seven clients today.”

 “Fuck, Soul.”
