“Cesar?” Antonio said in confusion.
“Nereus!” I gasped.
“What the fuck?” Antonio and I said in unison.
CHAPTER 42
Nirah
CESAR HAD NEREUS pinned to the wall with one hand around his throat while the other rested on Nereus’ waist.
Nereus had one hand wrapped around Cesar’s dick while his other loosened his pants.
“Nirah!” Nereus gasped, and I slammed my hand over my eyes.
“Sorry!” I blurted out, turning my back on them.
I grabbed Antonio’s hand, pulling him outside with me. I closed the door, covering my mouth with both hands.
I heard shuffling and talking on the other side before Nereus yelled at Cesar to be quiet. Seconds later, I heard water running and couldn’t hear what they were saying.
“So my brother and…” I slowly trailed off, and Antonio nodded in uncertainty. “Cesar?” I asked in confusion, and he nodded again. “Oh my God,” I laughed. “Did you know about…”
“No,” Antonio shook his head, and I slowly nodded.
“Well, I guess that’s one less man to worry about,” I teased, and he blinked, not showing a hint of emotion. “Too soon? Okay,” I nodded, trying not to laugh.
Minutes later, the door swung open, and the two of them stepped out.
“Nirah, listen..” Nereus trailed off.
“Boss, I—I can explain,” Cesar quickly stammered, but I stopped him.
“No,” I put my hand up. “Today he’s not your boss, so you don’t owe him an explanation,” I shook my head.
“Nirah—”
“Nope,” I cut Antonio off. “But I still need to know everything,” I blurted out, and Nereus smiled.
Cesar cleared his throat, and Nereus casually looked around.
“Oh! Right!” I clasped my hands together. “Do you mind…?” I asked Antonio, and he looked confused. “See, the girls and gays don’t like talking about feelings in front of straight men…” I pressed my lips into a thin line. “They just wouldn’t get it.”
He looked taken back and shifted his eyes to Cesar—who hesitantly nodded, shrugging his shoulders—and Nereus, who flat-out nodded, making it known that I was one hundred percent right.
“Thank you,” I sang, kissing his cheek before he left. “So?” I excitedly asked. “When did this happen—how did this happen?”
“We met a couple of months ago when Antonio came to Argentina to threaten me,” Nereus chuckled. “He ordered Cesar to stay outside my door, making sure that I didn’t leave and, well… I offered him something to drink since it was hot that day… and we talked…” he shyly trailed off and I placed my hands on my heart, jutting out my bottom lip.
“I had given him my phone number after Mr. Antonio and I left, and we’ve been talking ever since,” Cesar nodded, and Nereus leaned in to kiss his cheek.
“You guys…” I slowly said, feeling tears in my eyes. “Oh—come here!” I beamed, pulling them both into my arms. “I can already tell you guys will be such a cute couple!”
“Thank you,” they smiled as we broke the hug.
“And how come you never told me about the new… you?” I asked. “I feel betrayed,” I dramatically crossed my arms over my chest.
“I was going to, but today’s your wedding day, so I didn’t want to make it all about me.”
