“No it’s just—”

“She gave me a lap dance, go get my beer now,”Antonio groaned in the back and the girls and I snickered.

“See what I mean?”Cesar irritably asked, putting some distance between him and Antonio. Suddenly, Lorenzo’s face popped up.

“That would have turned any normal man on,”Lorenzo added.“She was good,”he admitted.“But Antonio barely even looked at her.”

“Except Antonio isn’t normal,” Silvia scoffed.

“He’s still my fiancé,” I said, and she rolled her eyes.

“And still my brother,” Amelia awkwardly put her hand in the air.

“It’s a tragedy. We know,” Silvia yawned and picked up a cupcake before stuffing her face with it.She’s never going to accept him.

We eventually ended the call, and all of us plopped down on the sofa. The girls and I chatted for hours until around 3 am. when I headed up to my bedroom. I was hesitant at first, but I knew that sooner or later I’d have to walk into this room. It felt odd…cold.

It was spotless. My bed was perfectly made, nothing was out of place, and even the blood had been cleaned up. With every ounce of courage, I walked around my room, accepting what had happened in here not too long ago.

To distract myself, I cleaned myself up and changed into a new set of lingerie. I couldn’t help but stare at myself in the mirror for a while. I looked and felt amazing.

Feeling mischievous, I sat in front of the full-length mirror, taking a picture. I texted Antonio the picture and texted him.“You have fifteen minutes before I lock the door and go to bed.”

CHAPTER 36

Nirah

AFTER SENDING THE text, I headed downstairs in my silk gown and let the girls know it was time to wrap everything up.

Thankfully, they immediately understoodwhy.

Neither of them wanted to be in this house tonight, considering that it was thenightbefore our wedding, so I had Antonio’s men drive them home just to be safe. Amelia had no issue spending the night at Silvia’s place—those two were glued to the hip all night, which made me happy.

To her, it was a way better idea than showing up to her parents’ house drunk out of her mind.

Amelia bought me a pair of red bottom heels, and I nearly hyperventilated. She really knew the way to my heart.

Silvia had bought me handcuffs and a collar.A fucking collar!I’m not putting a collar on my fiancé. The collar had a note saying:

“Make him your little bitch”.

Silvia. She truly has my heart.

To make up for the ‘weird’ gifts, she framed our first picturetogether and covered it in hundred dollar bills in the box. When I lifted the picture there was another note saying:

“The amount you made on your first night. I couldn’t be more proud of my girl.”

That had brought tears to my eyes as I looked down at the picture, thinking back to our very first encounter.

She really had been by my side through it all. When I had no one, I had her. And now, things were changing. I blinked away my tears and set her gift aside.

Her last gift to me was a handbag I had wanted since the day I met her, but never got around to buying. She remembered.Of course, she did.

London bought me some very interesting board games with aconcerningamount of sex toys. My hand flew to my mouth as I looked into the gift bag having never expected it.

Stephanie bought me personalized lingerie with Antonio’s name on the lace panties.Oh my God, it’s beautiful.

I couldn’t believe these gifts, and I knew all of them were laughing at my suspected reaction after opening these. They were the best friends a girl could ask for, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
