She stared down at her hands as she shifted on her feet. “What group? Seojun, who are you really? I mean, you know I’m just a girl in a fucked up situation, but you are a mystery. You come off as being just a businessman, but in reality, you are a killer. How can I go along with this plan when I don’t know you? Hell, I might as well go with Mr. L’s arrangement.”

I tucked my hands into my pocket and sighed. “I used to run a powerful group called the Jaguars until about two years ago. Someone came into my territory and recruited all of my men. They abandoned me and I’ve been spending the past year hunting them down. When Z was tied up, it was because he helped make that happen. The same with that ass hat over there,” I said, pointing at Arnez a.k.a. Dr. Johnston. “My goal has been to get my revenge on everyone who betrayed me and rebuild the Jaguars.”

I opened my mouth to tell her about the deal my father made but thought against it. She knew enough for now. I watched as she chewed on her bottom lip, her mind racing with a million thoughts. Addison walked over to the window and looked around, probably hoping to see her best friend, but her and Raheem were still gone handling Jerome. I wanted Addison to help me with Arnez, but we had to get this deal in motion.

“So,” she said, crossing her arms across her chest. “How do we do this?”

“Well, we’d only be married temporarily, yeobo. We’ll get the marriage certificate and send it to Jerome’s boss, which will end the contract between him and Mr. L. Also, because he will cancel the contract, that cancels the payment arrangement you made. Once we’re married, you will have the proper incometo prove that you can take care of your grandmother. I will add you to my bank accounts and show you as a silent partner in my realtor company. I have plenty of homes on the market, so you can move your grandmother to somewhere safe until we get Mr. L out of the picture.”

Addison shook her head. “My nana loves her house. Can’t she just stay there and have people watch over her?”

“It’ll be safer to move her, but like I said, this will all be temporary. Besides, if she stays there, I can guarantee it would be the first place that Mr. L would go to either find you or hurt her.”

“Shit, you’re right. Okay, okay, you promise that if we get married, you’ll allow me full guardianship of my grandmother? Plus, I can pay off all her debt using your money without retaliation?”

I nodded. “I am a man of my word.”

Addison shook her head and sighed. “Well, shit. I guess I don’t really have a choice. I mean, I know I have a choice, but this sounds like the best option. The good thing is at least I don’t feel weirded out by you and you’re not too bad on the eyes.”

I threw my head back and laughed. “So you think I’m beautiful, yeobo?”

She laughed and shifted uneasily on her feet, refusing to make eye contact with me. Was my little darling shy?

“Anyway, when do we start? What do we do in the meantime?”

I arched in eyebrow at her before chuckling. ”Yeobo, there’s no ‘in the meantime’. As soon as I handle Arnez, we are heading to my private jet and going to Vegas to a twenty-four hour wedding chapel.”

Addison’s mouth dropped open. “We’re doing this today? T-that’s not enough time! I mean, we don’t have a marriage license and I don’t have a dress.” Addison rambled, pacing in my office again.

“Yeobo, yeobo, calm down. Listen, in Vegas you can get your marriage license and go to a chapel within the same day. They also offer 30 days to annul the marriage.”

“Do you think we can get this all done within 30 days?” she asked.

I nodded. “Indeed. I only have three people left on my list and then I’ll be able to get down to the bottom of who betrayed me those two years ago. Plus, the sooner we get your grandmother in a different and safe location, the better. After you are settled, I’ll need to take you down to Texas for a meeting, but that would barely take a day. You win. I win. Easy as pie.”

“Pie from scratch isn’t that easy to make,” Addison scoffed.

“Not if you don’t know what you’re doing and yeobo, I’m a master chef.”

She chuckled before slightly shaking her head. “Well, Seojun, we have a deal.”

She extended her hand towards me and a happily accepted it. The softness of her hands had my imagination running wildly in my head. I envisioned her hands moving down my back as I dug deep into her walls. I bet she was a screamer. That thought had my dick jumping.

Not wanting to risk her seeing how turned on I was, I let go of her hand and walked towards the door. “Ready to take care of our mutual friend?”

A wicked smile spread across her face before she practically skipped out of the room. I smirked as I followed behind her. Pulling up a chair, I sat down and watched Addison head over to the metal table in the middle of the room. She didn’t tell me everything that Arnez did to her, but when Raheem told me whathe walked into when he went to pick Addison up, I assumed the worse. I wanted her to get her revenge first, before I took my turn.

“Dr. Johnston?” Addison called, looking over her shoulder.

He slowly looked up and smiled when his eyes landed on her. “Little Bit. I was starting to think you were going to hide in that room all night.”

She laughed before turning to face him. “Now why would I do that? Didn’t we have an appointment this evening?”

His smile faltered as he cocked his head to the side. Addison walked over to him until she was standing over him. I arched an eyebrow as I continued to watch her. What was she up to? Placing her hands on both of his shoulders, she stared down at Arnez. My blood began to boil as lust filled his eyes. I began to stand up when Addison hiked up her knee and sent her foot crashing down in between Arnez’s legs. She stomped over and over as if she were trying to kill a bug that intrude her space.

“You fucking bitch!” Arnez wailed out in pain.

“Shut the hell up!” Addison screamed, rearing her arm back and elbowing him in the face. Blood gushed out of his nose as his eyes rolled into the back of his head.
