“You need to get fucked, Devi?” he asked, and the wickedness of his question was enough to make my body clench. “Oh, fuck, baby, you’re painting my dick white.” Remembering he could see everything in this position, it was obvious he could see my arousal coating his cock every time he pulled out, but I wasn’t embarrassed in the least.
“Yes,” I rasped through the pleasure. “Fuck me, Cassius.”
His growl was agreement enough, and with his fingers digging into my hips, Cassius fucked me like he was trying to make a point. He fucked me like he was trying to make me addicted to him.
But I already was.
“Har…harder,” I said, begging some more, knowing I was close. “I’m…close…”
“Oh, yeah,” he grunted, and when he slid his slicked-up thumb inside my ass, it was all over for me.
“Cassius…”
“Fuck yeah,” he snarled as my body convulsed all around him, my orgasm rocking through my body. “Cum all over my dick, baby.” And I did.
All.
Night.
Long.
Chapter 19
Cassius~
It was past midnight, but my mind wasn’t ready to shut down, apparently. With Devi sleeping safely in my arms, my mind was still riddled with all the ‘what ifs’ of the night.
After I had sent Devi and Keith on their way, I had sent Atticus to go check on Kim, while I stayed behind to help set shit up with Xavier. Once I was sure Xavier had it under control, I had headed back into town and had hunted down Baker Landers.
The decision to kill him, too, had been an easy one. Anyone involved in harming Devi deserved to die as far as I was concerned. The kill had been swift and simple, and I wasn’t worried about getting caught. Plus, I didn’t think the RPD would really put in much effort into solving Baker’s murder. The guy was scum, and even the RPD knew it. One less asshole off the streets, and all that.
The only person that I couldn’t kill, but had been concerning, was the store clerk who had told me about the farmhouse. She’d known who I was when me and Keith had gone to pay off Fischer, and she had known who I was when she had walked into the office. The two guys who I had knocked out had been too busy comparing porn on their phones when I had snuck in, so they hadn’t seen me to be able to identify me before I had snuck up behind them and had knocked them the fuck out.
The clerk had been the only problem.
Luckily, with Atticus’ help, I had been able to find her apartment, and we’d had a little chat. Turns out, Alvin was every bit a dick to her as he had been to everyone else, and she wasn’t the least bit sorry to know he wouldn’t be around any longer. I didn’t tell her I killed him, obviously, but I had told her that Fischer wouldn’t be coming back, so she might want to find another job. So, guess who’s a new server at The Alto?
After talking to Erin, and making sure we were on the same page, I had called Xavier, and he had assured me that both the farmhouse and the body had been taken care of. I hadn’t asked for specifics because I knew Xavier well enough to know that I didn’t need to. I would never need to ask when Xavier was involved. He knew his stuff and I trusted him completely.
Once I’d been done checking up on Xavier, I had called Atty, and he had said he felt Kim had done a good job of being believable about a ‘random mugging’. He had also told me that Kim was a smart one, and she knew the rules of the game enough that, even if the cops suspected something, she was savvy enough to stick to her original story. And since the cameras facing the back parking lot of The Opera had a minor ‘glitch’ around that time, there was no disputing Kim’s story. And because Atticus wasn’t stupid, he had manipulated yesterday’s feed and this morning’s feed to collaborate we’ve been having problems with our camera system.
Everything seemed under control, and I hoped, with time, Devi, Kim, and even my new server will be able to move on, but us? It’ll always be in the back of our minds, like everything we’ve ever done always is. We never forget the dirt we do.
We couldn’t afford to.
I felt Devi’s body snuggle closer, and I moved the sheet and comforter around to make sure she was warm enough. She lived in a shit apartment building where insulation was probably non-existent, and the windows did nothing to stave off the cool night air.
Pulling her closer, I seriously doubted she’d be onboard to move in with me after only knowing each other three fucking days, but that’s where this was headed. There was no way I was going to let her be away from me after what happened today.
No fucking way.
This apartment building wasn’t safe or sound, and since setting her up in another apartment felt too much like she was my secret mistress, the only solution was for her to move in with me.
There was also the issue of her brother. Keith had no choice but to get his shit together now, and Devi was going to have to stand back and let me handle it. This bullshit called for tough love if ever I saw it. I just hoped Devi didn’t fight me too much on this because, if I had to beat the fuck out of her brother to make him see things my way, I would.
Devi snuggled closer, and I couldn’t help myself. I rolled us over until she was on her back, and I started kissing my way down her body.
I knew she was exhausted, and her body had really been pushed to its limits with the kidnapping, the struggling, and the three bouts of sex we had before she passed out on me, but I just couldn’t seem to help myself whenever she was near.
