“You have to ask?”Sesi nipped at her neck.
Callie shivered.
Talia broke away and nudged a black bag with her foot toward her.Callie hadn’t even noticed it before. You really are prey, aren’t you?she thought.Sesi rounded the back of the chair. Her arms drifted from Callie’s neck to grace Talia’s.
“Go ahead, you can look.”Talia offered, before Sesi sunk her teeth into Talia’s neck.Talia’s head fell back, exposing the long, slender olive column of her throat.Callie salivated, tearing her eyes from Sesi and Talia to the black bag.
Metal clinked.Several play knives, a hot pink strap and a black suede lined blindfold.
“Enjoy the show,” Talia mumbled as best she could, Sesi’s bottom lip caught in her teeth, “because you won’t be able to see much else for a while.”
Sesi wrapped the blindfold around Callie’s eyes.Lips pressed into her forehead.“Good girl,” she heard whispered against her ear.
Then a hand fisted into the bib of her overalls and heaved her forward.Callie crashed into another hand around her throat. She gasped, the void filled by another tongue, vibrating with a low laugh.Teeth grazed her ear.
“We’re going to take such good care of you,” she heard Talia threaten before she was led away and up a set of stairs.I’m safe, she told herself, but an ember of doubt refused to be extinguished and it glowed hot, low in her belly.
A hand shoved her forward.Callie stumbled, but managed to stay upright.Blinded, her audio processors adjusted to the environment. The music had grown quieter. She heard no-one else playing. Were they in a private room?
A point pressed into her throat.Callie lifted her head and stepped back, only to be caught. The point carved a long, slow line to her chin, holding her head aloft.
The dream she’d had about the ulu floated to the top of her consciousness. How strange that her emotions surrounding both death and sex and violence were so entwined.Perhaps she did have psychopathy.Perhaps Sesi was correct – that penance would help clear her ever present guilt. But she didn’t have long to ponder.
Her shoulders were pulled back and her arms bent in overlapping right angles. The rough scrape of two strands of jute bit against her elbows. That must be Sesi, she thought, trying to orient herself. She felt the rope cinch into a single column tie, binding her forearms together.Callie wriggled her fingers, testing the restraint.Sesi jerked the tie upward in response, keeping her bound and sending a jolt to her core.
The point never left her chin, but she felt Talia’s breath tease her lips. She was so close, but between the knife at her throat and Sesi holding her back, Callie couldn’t move. She opened her mouth in a silent beg.Talia graciously relented, taking one plush lip between her teeth. It was unfair that she could make her want so badly for such a simple act.
The point left her throat and Callie relaxed – until she felt Talia grab one of the straps of her overalls. The cool flat of the knife slid against her chest and then she felt a quick jerk. The strap fell limp.Terror struck her like a bombshell. Was Talia using real knives?
Callie used her surge of adrenaline to focus her attention as Talia cut the second strap. It fell away just like the first. The blood in her ears rushed so loudly, her audio processors compensated. And then the weight of her breasts relaxed when the restraint of her sports bra vanished. There was no way that could happen unless the knife was real!
Callie started hyperventilating.Sesi pulled her back by the stem of the TK into her arms.Lips pressed into the nape of her neck.
“You’re scaring Freckles, Talia.”
Talia licked a long line across Callie’s throat.“She likes being scared.”The point of the knife chased her tongue.Callie couldn’t tell if the liquid sensation that followed was Talia’s cooling saliva or her own blood.
Sesi applied the slightest amount of pressure to her spine, causing Callie to hunch forward. She drew a rope around her arms and chest, reversed tension and then repeated the wrap. The jute bit lusciously into her skin, like a warm hug.A bit too much of a hug, actually. Was she constricting her breathing?
Sesi tied a second rope and pulled it taut under her breasts. She IS constricting my breathing,Callie thought. The knowledge did nothing to alleviate her hyperventilating.
“You should probably do something so she doesn’t pass out,” Talia said. The tip of the knife slipped underneath the top strands of rope.
“Don’t you dare cut my rope,” Sesi warned.“It’s expensive as hell,” she muttered.
Talia laughed.“You didn’t pay a single scrip for this.”
Sesi added a kannuki on either side. The rope, and her ribcage, wouldn’t be going anywhere.Sesi ran her fingers through Callie’s short hair.“Use your safe word if you need to,” she bit against the shell of her ear.Shecoulduse her safe word, but not for mild discomfort. And if her soaked underwear was any indication, she was enjoying their intimidation far too much. There was nowhere else she would rather be than in the care of these two terribly violent women who had decided to pour all of their attention into her for the evening.
Sesi grunted her approval against the back of her neck.A third rope attached to the stem of her TK.Talia held her shoulders and a slight tension told her she must be attached to a suspension.
The knife edge drew across her throat to her traps and Callie gasped when they slacked as if the muscle had been severed. So strange, she thought, how the body reacts to the idea of being cut.In the darkness, Callie saw the faint light of subspace calling in her periphery.
Sesi slipped a fourth rope through the bottom wraps and cinched them to the top.She felt it draw through one kannuki and then the other.Sesi wrapped twice, compressing her breasts.Callie’s nipples thrummed with blood.
Talia shoved her from behind and Callie stumbled, but the suspension held her fast. The rope drew from the stem across her neck hitching through the top wrap and back again like a collar.
Talia yanked the stem and Callie fell backward into Talia. The edge of the knife found its way back to her throat.Teeth grazed her ear, followed by Talia’s molten tongue.“Are you enjoying this?”
