“Austin here is a social media guru. He has his own advising company.”Jesse nodded toward his friend.
“You advise people about their social media presence?”Olivia frowned.“That’s a thing? A job advising people about it?”
“Mostly companies, but some people. Influencers,”Austin explained.
“I just like to skipper my boat, serve good food, and…well, I haven’t done much online, I admit.”Jesse shrugged.
“But that’s changing. I’m going to get him all set up while I’m here.”
“Hey, maybe you could help Livy with Parker’s,” Jesse suggested. “She’s opening a new cafe there. They’ve expanded.”
“Oh, I don’t want to bother Austin on his vacation.”He’d find out that she had an even worse online presence than Jesse’s.
Austin laughed.“I’ve already figured out I’m not much of a vacation person. I wouldn’t mind stopping by and I could give you some suggestions.”
“I don’t know. Our budget is pretty tight with the expansion.”
“Free advice.”
Jesse elbowed him.“Hey, at least ask for one of their ice cream sundaes in return. Best you’ve ever tasted.”
Austin’s eyes twinkled.“I can be bought with ice cream.”
“Well, thank you.”It did intrigue her to see what Austin could do, but she hated to impose.
“I’ll come by one day this week?”
“That sounds great. I’m always there. Just ask for me.”
“We’re headed back inside to the gala. You ladies headed that way, too?”Austin asked.
“Yes,”Olivia said.
“No,”Heather said.
Olivia looked at her cousin and raised an eyebrow.
“We’re just going to sit outside here for a bit longer. It got kind of noisy and crowded in there,”Heather insisted.
She frowned at Heather.“I have to go find Emily.”
“I think I’ll just sit here a bit,”Heather said emphatically.
“Alone?”
“I’ll be fine.”
Of course, she’d be fine. It was Moonbeam after all. But still. She didn’t like leaving her sitting out here alone.
Jesse looked at Heather and rolled his eyes.“Come on, Liv, you can walk in with us.”
“I’ll meet you inside later?”Olivia said as Heather deliberately sat down on the bench.
“Yes, I’ll catch up with you soon.”
Olivia headed back inside, dwarfed between the two tall men. She gave one last glance over her shoulder at her cousin. Jesse caught her looking back and just shrugged.
Olivia enteredthe grand ballroom with Austin and Jesse, searching the crowd for a sign of Emily.
