Fight-!

That night. The park. Those freaky fucks with five eyes and black skin. Not brown, actually black! Like monsters coming out of the darkness. Goldie had been screaming. She was-

Goldie!

Fear for her sister made Garnet’s eyes snap open. For all the good it did. The bright light immediately seared her corneas. She couldn’t focus. It hurt. Her eyes. Her head. But she ignored the pain, squinting through it, as her brow furrowed as she tried desperately to look. To see. What was-

Red. Demonic red.

Therewasa monster. He had gray skin, not black, and only two eyes. But they were such a bright, fiery, wicked crimson, staring at her from up close. Entirely too close. Shewasmoving. This monster had her in his arms and was blinking down at her with an aloof expression on his rather harshly carved face.

He opened his mouth, but what came out was pure mush. Or, probably more accurately, her slow brain wasn’t capable of putting together whatever he was saying.

But it didn’t matter, because this monster was here, and Goldie wasn’t.

“Whereth my thither?!” Garnet yelled, her own words mush as well, her tongue too fat and uncoordinated to form words properly.

The monster said something else. But that was unintelligible too.

“Le’ me go!” Garnet tried to turn over. To get away.

He said something else. That wasn’t English. She didn’t know that language. But she did know that monsters might not be real, but aliens were. And it was well known that aliens loved human females. That was why Earth was a protected planet.

Well, not on Garnet’s fucking watch!

The alien guy opened his mouth again to say something-

-only for Garnet’s fist to hit him square in the nose.

He fell back, probably more from surprise than anything. Even she could tell there wasn’t that much strength in that hit. But his grip loosened allowing her to come tumbling out onto the floor with a grunt of pain as her knees struck hard metal.

She scrambled back to her feet-

-then immediately fell against the wall as her head spun. Her legs were like jelly, and the only reason she stayed upright was the shot of hot adrenaline coursing rapidly through her veins.

Garnet was not going down without a fight, and she’d be damned if she let any alien fucks touch her sister!

“Come get some!” She snarled weakly, raising her fists even as she used her shoulder to balance herself against the wall. “I’ll rip your dick off and play kickball with it. I’m not afraid of you!”

The gray-skinned guy blinked, obviously surprised but unimpressed. He looked at her like she was a yappy little chihuahua threatening to chew through his Achilles tendon.

“Where’s my sister, you bitch?” Garnet continued, yapping right away. She didn’t care. She’d go for the Achilles tendon – or whatever else she could reach – if she had to!

He just kept looking at her, cocking his head to the side.

Then someone yellow just popped into existence.

Garnet cried out, falling onto her butt, shocked at the sudden appearance of this… guy? He was yellow, transparent, and… nothing. He had no face, no hair, no clothes. He was male shaped but thankfully had all the anatomical accuracy of a manikin.

He said something too. Or, at least, she thought he did. There was no mouth to move, but the gray guy looked at him before responding.

Damn it! She didn’t speak alien. And they clearly didn’t speak English. What was going on?! What were they after?! Well, she knew what they were after, but they weren’t getting it without breaking a couple bones! Preferably theirs.

And where was Goldie!?

The yellow guy was walking her way. Garnet cried out and kicked, aiming for his knee. Her foot went right through him. Which wasn’t shocking, considering how ghost-like he appeared, but it still knocked her off her already shaky balance.

She fell to her side with an oomph, and in so doing, she caught sight of the giant, metal casket in the middle of the room. Its lid was open, though from down here she couldn’t see inside. But she figured that’s where she had to have come from because right in front of it, laid out on the ground, head turned to the side, was Goldie.
