"That's fantastic." Carter grinned. "You guys will make a wonderful family."
"You sure you can put up with them, Geo? They're a bit crazy at times," Noam teased.
"You can come hang out with us when they drive you nuts," Kacey agreed.
"You guys are so full of love and support." Matt shook his head. "Anyway, we couldn't be happier. Faith is excited to gain a brother, and we're ecstatic about gaining a son."
Geo nodded. "And I get two dads."
Bryon clapped as everyone continued to congratulate them. Once they settled and everyone was seated again, he pulled out a file. "Now that we have the good news out of the way, let's get to work."
Archer held up a hand. "If you don't mind, I take lead."
"Sure." Bryon nodded.
"We spent last night and this morning going over every name we've found and sorted them into individual files. Most prominent is Diaz, but we all agree we have to leave that to the bigger teams. That leaves us with the Wagstaff brothers. From what we've found in the files, they are throwing their sex parties about twice a month in a hotel suite in town. They invite five to ten friends and bring about a dozen children, ages three to ten to their party. Both boys and girls, but boys seem to be more popular than girls with them. Diaz is paid for the children, and they aren't returned to him. We have no record of where the children go once Wagstaff doesn't have need of them anymore or if the children even survive." Archer paused as he looked around the group. "Usually, we'd say that there would be no way for us to get to them since they are in a large hotel with a lot of security and cameras everywhere, but we've managed to work a miracle. Matt's dark web persona has managed to get himself an invite to a party happening this weekend."
"I did?" Matt looked surprised.
"Shouldn't let other people use your profile. You never know what they might get up to." Carter winked at Matt.
Matt laughed. "You crazy fool. You managed to get me an invite?"
"Yep, all the years of building that profile up paid off. You have a contact named Michael Burns who you've worked with when you've focused on auctions in the past. He's a good friend of Jason Wagstaff. He invited you to join him at Wagstaff's party on Saturday night. We hesitated, stating we were worried about it being in such a prominent hotel with so many cameras. We've been assured that all the people attending the party will be roomed on the same floor with all cameras on that floor turned off for the security of the attendees. Rooms will be registered under aliases also for the security of the attendees. So, we now have to decide if we want to attend and take out a few more pedophiles or if this is too dangerous and we should just alert authorities or a bigger team that it's going on? We pay the cost of the suite, which is around two thousand dollars a night, and we pay a fee to attend of ten thousand. There will be six other men at this party not including Matt if he goes. Jason and Jared Wagstaff are two of them, Michael Burns is another, but the rest of the names are unknown right now. I'm trying to find out who they are."
"Usually, I'd refuse to let the team go after unnamed men, but we know for a fact these guests are there to abuse children, correct?"
"There's no doubt what this party is about. They made it very clear when we were invited what we were being invited to. The pedophile logos are all over the email."
"You'd think they'd change their logos after the FBI posted their language on their website." Noam sighed.
"They're too cocky. They think they have the money and power to get away with anything, and a lot of the time they do. There are some very big players in these circles, politicians, actors, and singers. They think they're too big to be touched. They have the money to buy silence. These assholes protect one another," Carter said.
"I just want to be sure if we do anything, we aren't going after anyone who isn't deserving of our brand of justice. What about security in the suite?" Bryon asked.
"A single guard outside the door who allows entry then moves inside once everyone has arrived to work as a bouncer of sorts," Carter told them.
"So we have six men and a guard to take down with only me, Kacey, Matt, and Xander going in? I'm not sure those are very good odds." Bryon didn't see how it could work.
"I'll go with," Noam offered. "I know how to take someone down. I can inject them quickly and let you guys do the cutting."
"I can go in as well," Archer said. "That would leave Carter on the computer. That gives us six to their seven. Once you inject them with that shit, they aren't going to put up a fight."
Bryon leaned back, hating how badly he wanted to do this. He wanted Wagstaff stopped. He had no doubt the men at this party were top-tier pedophiles who probably abused several kids a week. You didn't pay that much money to attend a party if it wasn't part of your lifestyle. Still, it was risky. They had a lot to lose. "What about other cameras? You have elevators and other hotel cameras to worry about."
"If I have time, which I do on this, I can hack into the cameras in the areas we're worried about and loop them. It wouldn't have to be for long. Once when you went up to check in to your suite and again when you come back down. I can't promise I can find every camera though. I'll do my best. If we are packed and ready to leave Vegas right after, we won't have to worry." Carter shrugged.
"No, we stay a day or two after we go in. As soon as word is out, they'll be hunting for us. We're safer here. No one is going to look here for us. I talked to the guards. Rumors going around the area are that I'm Danny's wife's brother and I'm here with my family for a few weeks. The only people we have to worry about are the guards here, but I don't think they've caught on to anything so far. They've been good at minding their business and leave us alone. They secure the property and hopefully aren't paying too much attention to what we're doing. Danny said I could trust them, and I take Danny's word as truth."
"So do I," Carter agreed. "You're right. We should lay low for a few days. We can lounge by the pool and help Geo learn how to beat Xander on every video game."
Geo laughed.
Xander flipped Carter off.
Bryon just wanted to go home and be with Becca, but she'd be leaving to take Lenora and Andy to their new home. He couldn't turn his back on the children. He had to save them from being abused if he could. The team could handle this. It would be easy with the medication causing paralysis. They wouldn't have a fight on their hands once they started taking people down. "Alright, let's vote. How many of you say we go in?"
Everyone in the room including Geo raised their hands.
