"You do not have to say anything," Callum replied, "your child should not have to suffer because his father has decided to abandon his responsibility."
"I... I do not know how to repay your kindness," she said, sniffing.
"You do not have to do anything," Callum replied, "now, you have to excuse us. My wife and I have a wedding to attend."
"Of course," she nodded as she rose to her feet, "thank you so much."
Louise waited until she was gone before she spoke.
"I had no idea you planned on giving her a stipend," she said.
"What do you think?" Callum asked.
Louise nodded. "I am impressed by your kindness," she said, stretching her hand to hold his, "you are the epitome of selflessness even when people do not deserve it."
Callum smiled. "I am glad that you approve."
"Oh, why would I not approve? Yet again, you have shown yourself to be a better man than Felington. I am incredibly proud of you," she said, "you are not one to repay evil with evil. Instead, you go out of your way to help those who have offended you."
"I will always ensure that I make you proud in all my deeds," Callum replied.
"Now, we need to leave for the church lest we arrive late," Louise said.
Soon, they arrived in church where they witnessed the wedding ceremony of the Duke and Louise's aunt. Louise even shed a few tears when she saw how beautiful her aunt looked.
"I am just so happy that Aunt Theodora now has someone that she can share the rest of her life with," Louise said.
"I am happy for my grandfather too. I believe Lady Theodora is the best person for him and I am glad that both found each other, just like we have found each other," Callum said, before reaching over to lightly touch Louise's face.
After the exchange of vows and the signing of the registry, Louise and Callum went over to the new couple to bid them farewell. Louise also said goodbye to her mother who kept dabbing at her eyes at every turn.
Soon enough, Louise and her husband were in the carriage that would take them to their honeymoon spot, ecstatic at the fact that they would finally be able to spend time alone.
Epilogue
It was two days after the couple had left London that they finally arrived at the resort. It was a cluster of buildings that was set in a vast expanse of fields, rivers, and wood. Louise told Callum that the resort was set in the heart of nature.
Since they had spent the previous night at an inn two villages before the resort, they were both still pumped with energy and they even took a walk around the resort once they were booked in.
The sun was beginning to set when they got back into their room.
They had earlier entered the room before Louise kissed him full on the lips.
"Don't be so eager," he taunted her, "we have all of the honeymoon to do this."
Louise laughed and before he knew it, their bodies were molded together, her arms around his neck, her lips kissing him and his hands on her waist. They fit together perfectly. Callum had no doubt they were tailor-made for each other.
"Callum," she breathed, "I am glad I am yours."
Callum nodded in agreement. Too happy to truly put into words his emotions. His lips were still on hers as she pressed into him. Their hands ran all over each other's bodies even as their lips were entwined.
"I have been looking forward to this all throughout our journey," Louise said, as she ran her hand under his coat.
Callum, on the other hand, moved down to take in the flesh of her cleavage that was exposed in the dress with a low-cut hem that she wore.
"I feel the same way," Callum replied, as he ran his tongue down the valley that was just between her plump breasts.
"Even though we have been journeying for the past few days, I am still not tired. Not when I have so much to do on my darling wife," he smiled.
