“Please tell me you guys kissed.”

I groan, palming my forehead.“Fine.Yes, we did.”

“Oh my freaking God!”Her voice is way too loud, and a few classmates turn to glare.I give them an apologetic look, while Leanne just flips them off.

“Okay, spill.Every single detail.I told you the universe wants you two together.”

“No, Leanne, the universe does not want that,” I protest, exasperated.“It was at Fox’s frat party on Saturday, and we got dared to go to his room for seven minutes.”

“Seven minutes in heaven?”she asks, wiggling her brows.

“Yes, and that’s how we kissed. He panicked, told me it never happened, and warned me not to tell anyone.”

“Oooh,” she drawls, clearly intrigued.

I sigh and check my screen—Elias has sent me three more messages.

“That night I met this other guy, and we hit it off.We almost kissed, but then Fox barged in and dragged me out, furious that I was about to kiss a stranger.”

“Were you about to kiss a random stranger?”she asks, raising an eyebrow.

“I guess so.I was drunk.His name’s Elias,” I admit.

“Is he the one texting you now?”She glances down at my phone.I bite my lip, nodding.

“Yeah,” I sigh.“A lot has been happening with Fox, and it’s all just… messed up.”

“Yeah, and as usual, I’ve been kept in the dark.Did Landon know?”she asks, arching an eyebrow.

I chuckle.“Yeah, and he thinks Fox likes me.He says Fox’s a jerk because he doesn’t know how to express his feelings.”

“I think so, too.”

“Nope.Fox is just bi-curious, and a total pain.Enough about Fox.”I unlock my phone to read Elias’s messages.

“So you’re thinking of going out with Elias, huh?”Leanne leans in, eyeing the texts on my screen.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Leanne,” I say, trying to sound casual.

She chuckles, moving back with a satisfied grin.“He sounds cute, and you’re blushing, so I know you’re into him.”

“I do like him. He’s… not bad,” I admit, trying to play it cool.

“Does he like you back?”she asks, unzipping her bag and pulling out her laptop.

“We’re still just getting to know each other,” I say, tapping out a quick reply to Elias.

Just then, Professor Wellington walks in, late as always. He gives us a quick greeting before diving straight into the lecture, but my mind’s only half there, tangled up in thoughts of Fox, Elias, and everything in between.

At the end of the lecture, I gather my things, and Leanne and I walk out together. My next class is with Landon, so I wave goodbye as she promises to call me later. When I enter the classroom, I spot Landon sitting in the middle row.Dropping into the seat beside him, I let out a deep sigh.

After the incident this morning, when Fox practically kicked Landon out, we haven’t really talked.I sent Landon a few apology messages on the way to class, and while he doesn’t seem too bothered, I’m still frustrated and a bit embarrassed.

“Hey,” I say, looking over at him.

“Hey yourself. How was your last class?”He smiles, clearly unfazed.

“Good.What about you?”
