I love him.
These past few months have been the best of my life, all because of him.His presence, his laughter, his smile—it’s changed me in ways I didn’t think possible.
He shifts slightly in his sleep, snuggling closer to me and mumbling something incoherent.I smile and pull the duvet up to cover both of us, keeping him warm as I watch him.I don’t think I’ll ever let him go.
An hour passes.Then two.
I’m still awake, staring at him.Cameron’s back is now to me, and he’s shifted enough for his soft, bare ass to press against my dick. It’s torture. He stirs every so often, unintentionally rubbing against me, and I’m losing my mind.
I want to wake him up and make love to him again, but that would be selfish. He’s sleeping so soundly, snoring gently. But I’m hard as a rock, and this man is not helping.
I sigh, carefully slipping my arm out from under his head.I grab my basketball shorts, pull them on, and tuck him in better under the duvet. Then, I gather my laptop, phone, and a pack of cigarettes before leaving the room.
In the kitchen, I set my laptop on the counter and sit on one of the barstools.I light a cigarette, taking a long drag as I open my laptop. My eyes land on the FaceTime notification at the corner of the screen—Blaze is calling.
I answer, and his face appears, a joint hanging from his lips. His damp hair sticks to his forehead, and he’s wearing a plain black T-shirt.
“What’s up, you little shit?”Blaze greets, his tone casual as he adjusts his laptop.
I chuckle, exhaling a cloud of smoke.“I’m great.”
“You’re smiling,” he points out, glancing at the background.“Where the fuck are you?No, wait, don’t tell me—I already know. You’re with Cam, aren’t you?”
“Yeah,” I admit, taking another drag.
Blaze smirks.“Now I’m starting to worry. What did you do to him?I hope you went easy on the poor guy.”
I laugh, shaking my head.“Fuck you, Blaze.Seriously, fuck you, man.”
He bursts out laughing, snuffing out his joint in an ashtray.
“Can’t sleep?”I ask, knowing his tendency to have sleepless nights.
“Something like that,” he replies with a sigh.
I hesitate for a moment before asking, “So...when are you going to talk about Landon?”
Blaze’s expression shifts slightly, but he tries to mask it.He’s been acting strange lately, and whether he realizes it or not, he talks about Landon a lot.
“Talk about what?”he deflects, leaning back in his chair.
“Don’t play dumb,” I say, flicking ash into the tray.“You’ve been thinking about him.”
Blaze rolls his eyes.“Fox, don’t start.”
“C’mon, man.I know you still care about him.”
His expression hardens, but there’s a flicker of something vulnerable in his eyes.
I’m not dumb—there’s definitely something going on between them.Hell, I’ve even caught him checking out guys before, though he’s tried to play it cool.He doesn’t know I’ve noticed.
“What?”he says, feigning innocence.
I roll my eyes.“Don’t give me bullshit, Blaze.Seriously, what’s going on between you and Landon?”
He sighs, dragging a hand through his hair.“Jesus, just shut up, Fox,” he snaps, letting out another exasperated sigh.
“Why are you so fucking uncomfortable?”I push.
