Elliott looked up at Cooper, studying him. She knew what he was doing, but she refused to move. However, before she could respond, Kara spoke up. “No, it’s okay, really. Time and place—I should’ve waited. I actually have a date with Benji, so you two have fun, okay? I’ll be back in a few hours.”
Neither Cooper nor Elliott said anything as she stood from the couch and made her way over to the door. The silence was deafening as Kara slipped out of their apartment, leaving the two of them alone in the kitchen.
“Where have you been?” Elliott asked, finally breaking the silence. She finally took in his appearance; he was wearing a dress shirt with a black tie and black pants to match. “You’re half an hour late.”
“I had a meeting,” he answered curtly, taking a small step closer to her.
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she had to tilt her head back a little to look him in the eye. “You could’ve texted or called when you were on your way.”
“Sounds to me like my little huracà was worried about me.” Cooper reached a hand out and pushed some of her hair behind her ear. “I thought you didn’t care where I was or what I did.”
“And that will remain the official party line,” she retorted, crossing her arms defensively over her chest. “However, it’s common courtesy to let someone know when you’re running late.”
A smug smile came to his face. “And it’s common courtesy to treat your friend with respect. Seems we’ve both done something wrong, doesn’t it?”
“I believe your offense is more severe than my own.”
Cooper barked out a laugh before he cupped the back of her neck and pulled their bodies flush together. He watched her for a moment, just admiring his strong woman. He came here with a goal, with intent, to prove to her he had listened to what she had been telling him—to what she had asked for.
“It’s not up to you to decide,” he told her, reaching up to grab her throat in his hand. “The only thing you control in this situation is whether you plan to be good for me.” He tightened his hold slightly, a satisfied smile coming to his face as a light gasp escaped her and her eyes became hooded with arousal. “Are you going to be a good girl for me, huracà?”
“Why should I?” she challenged, her eyes flashing with heat.
He bent down and pressed a hard kiss to his lips before biting her bottom lip and pulling away. “Because good girls get rewarded.”
“And what do bad girls get?” Elliott wondered, knowing the answer but wanting to hear him say it.
“Why don’t I show you?”
Cooper hastily released his grip on her throat and bent down, throwing her over his shoulder and carrying her towards her bedroom. He kicked open the door and closed it behind him before he walked over and threw her down on the bed.
She gasped as she hit the mattress and climbed on top of her, connecting their lips before she had any chance to react. The kiss was heated as he tore her robe open before he moved to her neck, kissing downwards to her breasts.
He pushed back slightly, forcing the robe off her arms before he reached behind her back and unclasped her bra. She allowed him to take it off and throw it to the floor before his mouth immediately found its way to her left nipple.
Elliott moaned as she pressed into him, her hands finding their way into his hair. He teased her other nipple between his fingers. He suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled it out of his hair before he moved to stand at the foot of her bed.
She watched him as he bent down and pulled off her panties, leaving her to lie there naked on the bed. Cooper didn’t break eye contact as he removed his tie from around his neck. He climbed back on the bed, straddling her waist as he reached for her hands.
He wrapped the tie around her wrists so she couldn’t use her hands, keeping his hand wrapped up in the material to keep them pinned over her head. Her back involuntarily arched as he kept their faces mere inches apart. She tried to close the gap between them, but he pulled back so he was just out of reach.
“You do what you’re told when you’re told to do it,” he said, a sternness to his tone that let her know there was no room for arguments. “You touch me when you’re told, and you only touch yourself when I give you permission. You are not to come until I allow it, and you won’t speak unless spoken to. Understood?”
“Yes,” she breathed, more turned on than she had ever been before.
Cooper brought his free hand up and gripped her throat again, lightly cutting off her air supply. “Yes, what?”
“Yes, sir.”
“That’s my good girl,” he told her as he bent down and nipped her earlobe. “Now you wait here, just like this. You better be in this same spot when I get back.”
Elliott nodded as he slid off her and his feet landed on the carpet. She watched as he padded off to her closet, a curious expression on her face as she heard him rummaging around. He came walking out a minute later with both his hands behind his back. He walked over to the side of the bed and set whatever he was holding on the floor before he looked down at her.
“God,” he mumbled, his eyes scanning her naked body before looking back at her. “I love seeing you ready and waiting for me.”
She smiled softly, deciding to listen to his rules he had listed off.You don’t speak unless spoken to.For once, she planned on keeping her lips shut until he asked her a question.
Cooper went to the foot of the bed and grabbed her ankles, pulling her down so her feet were hanging off the edge. He suddenly bent down and grabbed something, and she watched as she realized he had found her secret box.
