The cool night air hit Diamond’s face as she stepped outside, the firelight casting long shadows across the campground. Her heart beat a little faster, but she told herself it was just the thrill ofsneaking around. She’d pulled on her boots, then moved silently, trying not to make a sound as she slipped through the campsite.
She moved toward the edge of the clearing, where she could just make out his figure leaning against his bike, the dim glow from the fire flickering in his eyes. He looked up, a smirk forming on his lips as he saw her approach.
“Thought I’d have to come in and get you,” he teased, his voice low.
Diamond couldn’t help the smile that tugged at her lips. “Didn’t want to wake everyone up.” She glanced back at the campsite, making sure it was still quiet. “But I’m here now.”
Sayer stepped closer, his gaze never leaving hers. “Good. I’ve been thinking about our last kiss since we ... saw each other.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Yeah? And what makes you so sure you can kiss me whenever you want?”
“I’m hoping tonight’s one of those times,” he replied, his tone a mix of teasing and something a little more serious. “But if you don’t want to?—”
Before he could finish, Diamond closed the space between them, her hand gently resting against his chest. “I didn’t say that.”
Without another word, she tilted her head up, closing her eyes as their lips met, soft but with an undeniable spark. The heat of the kiss quickly grew and the world around them faded away.
When they finally pulled back, both a little breathless, Diamond gave him a smirk of her own. “Guess I was right. You really do know how to kiss.”
Sayer laughed, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “I’m just getting started.”
Diamond raised an eyebrow again, but she didn’t pull away. “Well, we don’t have a lot of time.”
Sayer’s steps were purposeful; his eyes fixed on Diamond with a sense of intent that made her heart race. She stumbled slightly as she was backed up, the rough bark of the tree pressing against her back as she tried to maintain her balance. Her breath caught in her throat, uncertain of what was about to happen, yet a part of her couldn’t help but be drawn into the tension of the moment. The air between them felt thick with unspoken words. Every inch of the space around them charged with the weight of anticipation.
“What are you going to do?” Diamond’s voice was barely above a whisper, though her gaze never wavered from his.
“Sweetheart, whatever you want me to,” he told her, his voice husky as he leaned down to kiss her again. God, he loved the feel of her lips on his. The softness, the warmth—as if the rest of the world disappeared, leaving only the two of them in this bubble of stolen time.
Her body pressed against his, feeling the firm muscles beneath the softness of his shirt. Every inch of him was a temptation, a promise. Diamond could feel the pulse of desire building between them, each movement slow and deliberate. Sayer’s hands slid down her back, the touch of his fingertips sending waves of warmth across her skin. Her breath caught when his lips trailed down to her jaw, his kisses hot against the sensitive skin of her neck. “You feel so good,” he murmured, his voice rough. She could feel his pulse beneath her fingertips, the steady beat of his heart matching her own.
Diamond tilted her head, giving him more access, the pulse between her legs quickening as he kissed down to her collarbone. She could feel his lips smile against her skin as his hands traced the curve of her waist, pulling her even closer. The air was thick with longing, the kind of heat that made it impossible to think about anything else. She looked up into his eyes, desire flickering behind them. “I want you, Sayer,” she whispered, her voice thick with need.
The words hung in the air, charged with promise. Every movement felt like a slow burn, their bodies and minds locked in a dance of anticipation. As his lips never left hers, the kiss only breaking to allow for the removal of clothes, the heat of the moment too consuming to resist.
Sayer lifted her effortlessly, turning he rested his back against the tree allowing Diamond to wrap her legs around his waist. He’d rather scratch up his back rather than hers.
Her hands slid up his chest, fingertips grazing the muscles as if memorizing the feel of him. He deepened the kiss, pulling her closer, unable to resist the magnetic pull between them. His heart raced with the intensity of the moment, and he could feel hers matching his, as if they were two souls in perfect sync.
“Shit.” He let her slide down his body. He grinned, grabbing his jacket, he placed her arms through. He lifted her and shoved her against the tree. The leather protected her back. While the jacket laying open, leaving her bare to him.
His mouth pressed against hers was all passion. “Hold on,” he told her as he reached between them shoving his jeans down.
“Condom.”
“What?”
“Do you have a condom?”
“Damn it, woman. You know how to stop a man in his tracks.” Reaching down, he fumbled for his pants. “ You could have asked that before I shoved my jeans down.”
Diamond laughed as Sayer fumbled with his jeans. The roar of bikes coming up the lane had him stopping. He let her slide down to her feet and pulled up his jeans. Leaning in he covered her with his body keeping her identity concealed.
When the line of bikes rolled past, Sayer looked at Diamond. She wasn’t some club girl; she was the president of a MC chapter. “I think we should postpone.”
Letting out a sigh, Diamond agreed, “Yeah maybe next time I’ll stay alone in my tent.”
“Maybe next time you ladies make the run with us. You and I could share a tent.” He waggled his eyebrows at her smiling. Stepping back, he leaned down and retrieved her clothes. Handing them to her, Sayer watched as she dressed. He chuckled when she pulled his jacket closed. “I’ll give you your jacket tomorrow.”
