“Yes, much better,” I whispered, my eyes rolling back as he picked up his pace.

His moans were the sexiest thing I’d ever heard. He held my hips as he slid in and out, faster and faster, the sound of skin against skin filling the air. I couldn’t help how loud I was moaning; it was so intense.

Quill then pulled out, sliding my body over so I was entirely on the bed, and he crawled on top, resuming where we were. He lowered his body until he was holding me close, then continued his movements, his groans so close to my ear. I wrapped my legs around his hips and held him tight.

“Gods,” he panted. “You feel too good.”

He slowed his movements and pulled his face back so that we were looking at each other.

His golden eyes bounced between both of my mine. “I love you, Lena,” he said softly, and my heart melted just as it had when he had said it earlier.

I reached my hand up and held his cheek. “I love you, too, Quill.”

His eyes flickered, and he smiled and ran his thumb along my bottom lip. “Your eyes are so stunning. Such a beautiful shade of green.”

I laughed softly. “My eyes? Have you seen yours?”

He chuckled and kissed me again, then pulled back and increased his pace.

“Quill—fuck!” I wailed. The bliss I felt was blinding as he scooped me close and moved in me quickly. The pressure again built up until I cried out, another orgasm rippling through my body. I was breathless as I throbbed around him, squeezing his cock tightly just as he found his own release. I held him close as he moaned loudly, pouring himself into me.

We lay there for a moment, our bodies sweaty and staggering for breath, before he pulled himself out and lay beside me, facing me. I turned to meet his gaze, a smile creeping over both of our faces.

I never imagined anyone loving me or ever getting close to anyone in general. I never imagined being intimate with anyone.

Perhaps we could be together. Maybe I could even tell him about who I really am one day.

“Thank you for allowing me to be your first time,” he said softly. “And thank you for being mine.”

My eyes widened. “I was your first time, too?”

He brushed my hair from my face and smiled. “You were.”

The idea of him even touching another female made me want to burn down buildings, so knowing I was incorrect in my assumption of him having been with other girls made me kiss him gently.

He pulled me so I was now lying on his chest, his hand tracing lazy circles on my back.

“How come you seem so…experienced, then?”

He chuckled. “Having guy friends teaches you many things—things you don’t even want to know.”

I looked up at him. “Edmund and Hendry?”

“Hendry. Some of my other friends have lost their virginity, too. So, I suppose I knew some from that.” He blushed. “But really, I was just guessing.”

I dragged my teeth along my bottom lip. “You guessed well, very well.”

“I’m glad.” He grinned. “I am taking a tonic, just so you know.”

I blinked. “Oh, I am as well.”

I knew humans created contraceptives of their own, but their success rate wasn't nearly high enough for me to risk it.

I think this may be the first time in my life I am grateful for being a Mage.

He continued running his fingertips along my back.

“Did…did I make you feel good?” I asked quietly.
