Tattered Monarchs are the first act signed to Alloy Records, which is the newly formed record label owned and operated by rock bandthe Tin Gods. After separating with their label,Stolly Records, weeks ago, the Tin Gods announced that they were starting their own label—owned and operated for and by musicians with the promise of better royalties and ownership agreements.

Tattered Monarchs have an intertwined history with the Tin Gods.News first hit about the pending litigation during a Tin Gods concert at their Las Vegas residency at the Oasis Resort/Casino.Frontman,Chase Robinson, invited the band onstage after advising the audience that their song had been stolen by the other group.Tattered Monarchs rocked the stage and the next day filed their lawsuit.

Videos soon popped up all over social media of the girl group singing the song in bars in Las Vegas months before Alien Attraction lead singerParker Webbfiled for his copyright.

And the public disclosure of their lawsuit showed that drummer and songwriter Rose had filed for her copyright months before Webb.

Days later, news broke that Rose was in a relationship with Tin Gods drummerNoah Hawkerand had been Hawker’s drum tech and roadie for years.Rose was the woman who’d stolen Hawker’s attention during all his Win-A-Date dates.

Although they garnered their share of haters, response has been largely positive toward Rose, Hawker, and the Tattered Monarchs.

As well as Rose, Tattered Monarchs lead singerLark Johnsonwas previously a backup singer for the Tin Gods, and guitaristBailey Butlerworked for the Tin Gods selling concert merchandise.

We have reached out for comment with both the Tattered Monarchs and the Tin Gods.

Epilogue

One month later

Alice

“Let’s take that one from the top,” the voice crackled overhead and was jarring in the silence of the sound studio.

Lark made a face at the window across from her.“One more time, then I need a break. My fingers are getting sore.”

“Let’s take a break now,” the voice crackled overhead again.“Lunch.Be back in an hour.”

“Oh hell yeah!”Bailey quickly unbuttoned her guitar strap and danced over to me.“Want to go check out if Lamb has any tables open?I guarantee you that they’ll fit us in.”

I smiled back at her.Noah had taken me to Lamb and so many other restaurants in town over the past two months that eating out had started to lose its allure.“We only have an hour.”

“True.In-N-Out then?”

I laughed outright.

“Nice try,” Noah’s voice crackled overhead, making us all jump.“The girl is mine.Back off.”

“Yes, sir, boss man.”Bailey turned and gave Noah a mock salute.“Anything you want, your lordship!”

Lark bounced over, laughing with us.“Whatever.I’ll take you to In-N-Out, Bails.Let’s leave the lovebirds to go at it like bunnies in peace.”

“Oh my god, you guys!”I shouted at their retreating backs.“We’re not going to…” I trailed off. There was really no point in denying it.If we had a whole hour and Noah was already here, no doubt we were going to go at it at least once.

“Exactly. She can’t even lie believably. What have you done to her?”Lark pouted at the glass.

Noah shrugged.“Loved her like hell.Would that do it?”

Bailey nodded.“That would do it.”

“Let’s go.”Lark tugged on Bailey’s hand.“I’m hungry, and being around these two lovebirds gives me so much FOMO.I need a man.”

“Aww, okay, Lark.Let’s go find you a man.”

“Food first then manhunt,” Lark grumbled.“I’m starving remember?”
