My toes curled, and a familiar tingly sensation built in my lower stomach and zapped through the rest of my body. I bit my bottom lip to suppress my moans as I orgasmed for the second time since I’d started. A small whimper escaped me, and I flicked my clit faster to continue climaxing for as long as possible. As I floated down from the high, I still felt the need to keep going. It wasn’t enough, and my desire for my boss hadn’t gone away. If anything, it became worse.
I dipped my fingers inside my quivering inner walls while I rolled my thumb on my sensitive bundle of nerves.
What would Mr. Volkov do if he was in here with me?Probably degrade me. I shuddered, and a small moan escaped me as I thrust my fingers faster while I pictured my boss between my legs, his tongue swiping between my folds before he closed his mouth on my clit.
I’d been desperate to lie to him again just so I could go down on him for the second time. It’d been tempting, and I planned on making a “mistake” so he could punish me.
Warmth spread through my body, and I arched my back, whimpering as I orgasmed. I pictured Mr. Volkov hovering over me, settling his hips between my legs. My core wept with need as I imagined him stretching me with his large erection.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” I quietly sobbed as I reached the peak. When it passed, I flopped my hands beside my head on the pillow. I breathed harder and kept my eyes closed as I basked in the high. My clit pulsed, greedy for more, but I couldn’t find the energy to keep going.
A small idea wriggled into my mind. What if I snuck into Mr. Volkov’s bedroom and slipped into bed with him? What would he do if I begged him to fuck me?
I huffed a brief laugh. He’d most likely kick me out. What happened at the spa and the mansion was a one-time thing. Technically, two times, but there would certainly not be a third.
After a few minutes of lying there, I eventually fell asleep, with Dimitri Volkov being my last thought.

The sound of crunching snow was so loud that it seemed like a giant was charging toward me. The sudden noise of metal colliding with metal jolted me. A piercing scream echoed in my ears, and pain surged through my body as if I had been bent until my bones snapped.
“Emma!” a man roared over the howling wind.
Footsteps approached me as I lay on something cold and wet. I couldn’t open my eyes, no matter how much I tried. Everything hurt, and I felt like someone took a blade to my skin, slashing into me and even ripping off pieces. Whoever walked toward me stopped and crouched by my head. They sighed, and something smooth and cool brushed my exposed cheek.
“It’s too bad,” she whispered.
“Emma!” the same man yelled, but he sounded closer.
“Emma,”a voice hissed right into my ear.
I shot up in my bed, panting and looking around the room. I jumped when I noticed a shadow resembling a tall man wearing a hood in the corner. After blinking a few times and squinting my eyes, my vision adjusted to the dark, and I realized the shadow was just the chair with a blanket thrown over it.
Dropping my head and pressing my chin to my chest, I squeezed my eyes shut. I shivered as I still heard the scream and a man yelling my name. It sounded so real and familiar that it was hard to shake off. Bits and pieces of the dream lingered, and I tried to remember what had happened. There had been a crash and I had felt like a rag doll, thrown every which way until pain lanced through my body. Then it was dark and cold, a man calling to me with fear in his voice.
“Emma,”a soft voice whispered from outside my room.
I raised my head and looked at the closed bedroom door. My heart raced, and I debated whether to check to see who was there. My subconscious made the decision because I slipped out of bed and tiptoed toward the doorway. Easing it open, I poked my head out and blinked. My mind went fuzzy and felt like someone else was controlling my thoughts and body.
“What are you doing here?” I whispered to Tyler.
My friend unfolded his arms from over his chest and stuffed his hands into his pockets. Shrugging, he gave me a sheepish smile. “I wanted to visit my friend.”
I stepped outside the bedroom and into the hallway. Tilting my head to the side in curiosity, I grinned. “I’ve missed you. Are you here for more books?”
“I came to warn you about the aliens,” he said with a little smile.
“Aliens?” I gasped, my eyes widening.
“You gotta get rid of the electronics, Em. That’s how they’re listening.”
I sucked in a sharp breath and reared my head back, blinking a few times as I let what he said process in my mind. I glanced around the hallway, terrified that aliens could be in the room with us right now, listening to our conversation.
“They’re listening?” I whisper-yelled.
Tyler nodded with a grim expression, and his lips drew into a thin line. “They turned CERN back on, and it opened a black hole. That’s where they’re coming from.”
“Oh, god,” I whimpered. I shot into my bedroom. Grabbing my phone from the bed, I bolted into the bathroom and switched on the water in the bathtub. I plugged the drain with a shaky hand and threw my cell into the rising water. My head spun, and I felt the familiar icy fingers of panic grip me until I couldn’t catch my breath. I ran back into the hallway to get more information from Tyler about these aliens.
