“She works at Mom’s brothel. She’d do whatever we said because if not, Mom would sell her daughter.”

Adley stared at him, letting go of his balls as she stood up. He was despicable, and now she knew exactly where they had planned on taking her when she was chased at the Arboretum. Fury filled her until she couldn’t do anything but let it out. She wanted to scream, but she settled for stomping hard on his dick and balls. His screams of agony had all the men reflexively cupping their balls.

“Tell Justice the address of the brothel and anything else he needs to know, and I’ll make sure your mom is taken to the hospital,” she said, spitting on his face.

“Do whatever you need to do, but if I have a say, I’d rather see him be someone’s bitch boy in prison for the next thirty yearsthan get a quick death, but I’m good with whatever y’all decide,” she said, walking over to Macy. Tack waited until her arms were around Macy and they’d walked out to the hallway before releasing her completely from his arms.

Adley kept her arms around Macy and just held her as they leaned against the wall. So many things could have been worse today, and she couldn’t stop the tears rolling down her face. Justice and the SOMC had saved her and Macy. Macy laid her head against Adley and cried silently. The wetness of her tears soaked Adley’s shirt, but Adley didn’t care. They were both alive. What were a few tears and snot between sisters?

Multiple police officers came out of the elevator and stairwell with guns drawn, walking toward her.

“My name is Adley Pearson. I was the one held at gunpoint. My attackers are both inside,” Adley said. Two female officers stopped at Adley while four other officers went into the office.

“Are either of you hurt anywhere I can’t see?” the officer closest to Adley asked.

“Umm, I was held at gunpoint, but I don’t believe I have any injuries,” Adley replied.

“Ma’am, you have small scrapes and wounds that are bleeding on your face, neck, and legs. What about the woman in your arms?” the officer asked.

“I’m okay. I’m her sister. Just crying from the relief of knowing we’re both still here,” Macy said.

“I’m glad you’re okay. I’ll stay with you until they decide where they want to dostatements at,” the officer said, the other heading into the office.

Adley leaned her head against Macy’s. “Love you, sissy.”

Chapter Twenty

Adley sat down and joined Ariel, Macy, her mom, Ruthy, and Charlie. It had been two weeks since the incident, as they were calling it. Tonight, they were having a party to celebrate. Shit Stain had decided to take a plea deal. There’d be no trial and nothing more to deal with. He’d recited to the DA everything he’d told Adley and even more. His mom had had two more brothels or buildings that housed trafficked women and kids that she sold. His mom must have had quite the temper for killing those who disappointed her because, all told, they unearthed fifteen bodies atthe house where she’d been living. They’d found a mass grave at every brothel with so many bodies thrown in that it would take months for them to separate the bones and figure out how many were buried.

Adley was so relieved she wouldn’t have to talk about what happened on the stand. She hoped it didn’t make her a bad person, but she was happy that Stain would not only spend his life in jail, but the club had also ordered aGet Welldelivery twice a month, which was random, so Stain would always be on edge.

Justice had asked Adley what she wanted from her office and had the prospects move it to his garage until her new office was done. Ruthy had offered the building next to hers for Adley’s office. Ruthy and the club actually owned the whole block. The guy’s custom motorcycle shop and thegarage they were opening were going in the vacant building on the other side of Adley. Justice and she had decided to have offices together, which would allow them all to have a place for Ian. Ian would have a place at Ruthy’s Flower Shop along with one at Justice and Adley’s office. She might as well share an office, and then he wouldn’t need to have video and audio in her office. She was grateful he was an overprotective man because him wiring her office had allowed them to have Ariel call and distract Shit Stain’s mom and rescue Adley and Macy.

Adley and Macy had been trying to make up to the prospect, FNG 2, because he took a bullet for them and slowed Stain down enough that Tack could get in place to shoot the woman. Justice had said they needed to understand that when you were in a motorcycle club, you were willing to die for theclub and quit babying the man. However, Adley noticed that Justice had bought the prospect a new bike as a thank you.

Pit walked over and stood by the bar. “Alright, everyone, we’ve got to talk about something. I’m going to let Justice go first,” Pit said, motioning to Justice.

Justice walked toward the front carrying something black in his hands. “Adley, will you come up here?”

Adley stood and walked toward the man who she’d fought her attraction for until she realized he was the man for her.

He stood in front of her with that smirk she loved on his face and his baseball cap on backwards.

“Adley, even when you were flipping me off and not giving me the time of day, I was entranced.” Justice had to stop so all the hooting and hollering over her flippinghim off could die down. “But I had no idea the strength and fierceness you kept locked down. When you opened up to me, I thanked my lucky stars that you were giving me a chance. Now I’m asking you two more things: will you be my Ol’ Lady and ride with me until we can ride no more?” he asked, holding up her cut that saidProperty of Justiceon the back andHoney Badgeron the front. She giggled and nodded.

“I will ride with you until we can’t ride anymore, and I will always be your fierce Honey Badger, fighting for our love and our family by your side,” Adley said, turning for Justice to slide it on for her. He twirled her around, claiming her lips, but Adley was not going to be distracted again. It had become Justice’s way to win a fight. Kiss her until she gave in to whatever he wanted. Hesaid two questions, and she wasn’t missing one. She pulled back.

“Second question?” she asked.

Justice turned and lifted Ian out of Tack’s arms and then dropped to one knee. “Will you marry me, Adley? Be my wife and let me worship you for the rest of our life? Will you be Ian’s mom and promise to always love him too? Our lives won’t be complete without you tied to us.”

Adley let the tears splash down her cheeks at the sight of Justice holding Ian and the ring held in Ian’s hand with Justice holding it too.

“I will marry you and gladly be Ian’s mommy. You’ve both given me everything I could have ever asked for. Yes, a thousand times yes!!”

Justice slid the ring on her finger, and Adley kissed Ian’s cheeks, then kissedJustice. She didn’t think her heart could be any fuller. Justice led her over to a seat.

“Just a minute, Honey Badger, and we’ll celebrate.”
