She giggled, and Justice wrapped his arm a little tighter around her. Justice was probably worried she was losing it. She would, eventually, but for now, she was going to hold strong. She was safe.

Shit Stain wasn’t looking good. He had a bullet wound in his arm, and his face looked like it had gone three rounds with a fist, and was that a boot print on his face?

“You waste of space. We all got fresh starts. You didn’t take it. You became exactly like those horrible men. I hope you suffer,” Macy screamed with tears running down her cheeks. Tack walked over and pulled her into his chest, patting her back.

Pit stepped into the room. “Got a decision to make. Were there two people here or onlyone? We could make Stain take a little drive, get some more information from him, and then let the police have him, or we could play it by the book.”

Adley stared at the nightmare that had terrorized her, her sister, her mom, and her man. She walked over to him.

“How long do we have with Shit Stain before the cops are here?” she asked.

“Probably about five minutes max,” Pit said.

“Roll him over,” she directed.

Pit and Justice rolled him over onto his back; he moaned at the pain in his arms.

“Love you, Justice,” she said and winked. She reached between Shit Stain’s legs and grabbed his balls through the light tactical pants he was wearing. She was very grateful he wasn’t wearing jeans; it was easier to grasp this way. She pulled a little and startedsqueezing, putting all the fear and anger she’d been experiencing into making this man hurt.

“Who was the man who was short and ran away from my house?” she asked.

“Fuck you,” he yelled.

“Oh, you won’t be fucking anyone. I bet I can pull these babies right off,” Adley said, pulling harder and twisting. She’d seen on a medical show about torsion in balls being extremely painful.

“No, stop,” he whined.

Adley waited. “Well?”

“One of my men, buried at Mom’s,” he said.

“Address of your mom’s,” Adley requested.

He rattled off an address. She let someone else worry about writing it down.

“The men in the van and at the Arboretum that chased me,” she said.

“Same as the break-in. All dead,” he sobbed as she gave another twist to make sure he was telling the truth.

“Last chance. Were you and your mom the last?” she asked.

“Yes, is Mom okay? I’ll do anything if you let her go to the hospital,” he pleaded.

“We’ll talk about help for your mom in a minute. I have a couple more questions for you. How did you get your job at the police department with your bogus information?” she asked.

“Mom got a job in human resources two years before I was hired,” he whined, wincing as Adley gave a little twist, just because of all the terror he’d caused.

“Who killed Gina?” she asked, staring at him. He was in too much pain, she thought,to lie, but someone would need to check his story.

“Mom did. She was supposed to get access to the clubhouse by being Justice’s Ol’ Lady.”

Adley glanced around the room at the men and knew they wanted vengeance too.

“One more question, then we can talk about the hospital for your mom. The Siren who was going to take Ian and Teddy. How’d you get her to comply?”

Shit Stain stared at her, and she wondered why he was hesitating on this question. She pulled his balls lower and squeezed until tears poured out of his eyes.

“Okay, okay, please stop,” he screamed. Snot ran down his face. Maybe Snot Stain should be his name. Adley chuckled to herself and wondered how she was handling this so calmly.
