Considering that Scott had very strong opinions on cabinetsand paint colors for someone who’d never owned a house, Dare might’ve been onthe right track.

Come to think of it, house topics were some of the onlystrong opinions he had. Ask him about dinner and sometimes all I got were vagueshrugs, but ask him about white cabinets and he’d just keep going.

Dare was going to find that fascinating.

But before I could point that out—because stirring Scott upabout it was just fun—Dare took the conversation in a different direction.“It’s okay if you have an…unconventional passion about the idea of a house…Ihave one too.”

Dead silence filled the room.

What kind of passion?

Moving from the doorway, I inched across the room until Iwas standing with my legs braced on either side of Dare’s and leaned over thebed. “We don’t mind unconventional.”

Scott snickered. “Real smooth.”

“He said it to begin with.” I glanced down at Dare who wasfighting not to laugh. “Unconventional isn’t a bad thing.”

Dare finally broke out in laughter. “It’s one constantreminder after another about why I love you two.”

’Cause we were fabulous.

And funny, based on how often he was giggling.

“We’re the best.” As I leaned down to kiss Dare, Scottsnorted.

“How did you get a kiss out of that line of shit?” Scott washuffing as I straightened, grinning.

“Just smooth, I guess.” My answer had Dare nearly peeing inhis pants, he was laughing so hard. Scott couldn’t seem to decide if I was cuteor if he was going to hit me over the head with one of the pillows. It lookedlike a hard decision.

Dare started to calm down before Scott brained me and as he staredup at us, he just grinned and shook his head. “I love you two.”

’Cause we were clearly awesome.

Me more than Scott, of course.

But I kept that important point to myself; no point inhaving Scott damage one of the pillows.

Reaching up behind him, Dare wrapped his arms around Scott’shead and pulled him down for a long, tender kiss that just kept getting deeperuntil they separated breathlessly. As Dare stroked his face, giving him aloving look, it slowly turned to a teasing grin. “But you both have to be goodboys or I’m not going to share my surprise with you.”

Surprise.

“Would that have anything to do with the unconventionalpassion you mentioned?”

I didn’t dodge the damned thing fast enough.

“Hey.” Surprisingly enough, feathers did not go everywhere.I’d been lied to by Hollywood. “Master, he needs to be punished.”

That had Scott freezing in his tracks. His wide eyes said hewasn’t sure he liked where the conversation was headed. “He started it.”

And that just sent Master into another fit of giggles.

Taking a deep breath…or three…he finally got himself undercontrol. “So cute. God. You two.”

Sitting up, he shifted on the bed and sat cross-legged,studying us both. “Alright, here’s what we’re going to do. I’m gross, so I’mgoing to get a shower, and then we’re going out to dinner. When we get home,I’m going to let you both bribe me with a nice massage so that neither of yougets in trouble.”

I loved the idea of giving him a massage, but I hadn’t doneanything wrong.

Scott spoke before I could point that out, though. “Thatsounds wonderful, Master. Thank you.”
