The new neighborhood might’ve been a bit farther from theirwork, but we had lots of new shops to explore and a farmers market everyweekend. We’d managed to get out of bed early enough this morning that we’deven made it and had walked around exploring the different homemade goodiesthat were offered.
“Cannoli?” Ryan’s eyes lit up. “I like lasagna too.”
Wiggling on their thighs, I grinned. “She’s a great cook, and if we look pitiful enough, she might give us leftovers.”
She always cooked like we all still lived at home andleftovers were just about guaranteed.
Scott took a bit longer to get his brain in gear. “We don’twant her to get upset. If we make sure she knows we chose to come see her, thenshe’ll like us better. Right? I mean, the rest of them just showed up.”
That would definitely get in her good graces.
“I think that sounds like a very smart decision.” I gave eachof them one more kiss, grinning. “She’s going to love you both just as much asI do.”
“Enough to make sure we have lasagna for lunch tomorrow?”Ryan looked up at me hopefully. “We still didn’t make it grocery shopping.”
Oh, very true.
Bad Master.
“I think she’s going to love making sure you two havewonderful leftovers.” And then we’d come back to the conversation aboutclosets, and clothes, and where I was going to live going forward.
Chapter 14
Scott
“They don’t hate us.” The relief in Ryan’s voice was sweet, but the fact that he’d pushed me into the bathroom to whisper it to me might’velooked a bit odd.
But since he’d already gotten caught whispering naughtythings to Dare by our wonderful Master’s lip-reading family, it was probably asmart decision even if it did make us look weird.
However, on the plus side, Dare’s father thought we weredelightful.
But the giggle in Lydia’s voice when she’d translated that indicatedhe might’ve said something a bit cheekier.
“No, but now they’re going to think we’re weird.” I wasn’tgoing to piss in front of Ryan with Dare’s family standing just feet away, so Iwaited to see what else my insane boyfriend wanted. “It’s going well.”
Compared to Ryan’s family, there hadn’t been anything toworry about.
Dare’s parents were open-minded and funny, and once we gotused to having someone translate for Peter, talking with everyone had gonesmoothly. Hell, they were even impressed we’d managed to learn some basicsigns.
It was just enough to be polite, but we managed to catch afew words here and there as Peter had teased Dare about how tall we were.
Clearly, everyone in the family knew of Dare’s love of bigguys.
But thankfully no one mentioned domination or roles or didanything interesting like Ryan’s mother had.
Watching his dad signing inappropriate questions might’vebeen more than my heart could take. Just googling what stuff relating to BDSMwould look like made my stomach whirl, but everyone behaved themselves…evenDare’s siblings.
Having their parents around made a world of difference.
“I just…” Ryan took a breath and smiled. “They don’t eventhink it’s odd that there are two of us.”
The reality of seeing that versus Dare saying it would beokay was startling, so I knew where Ryan was coming from.
“They might not think it’s odd that he’s dating two men, buthow about we not make them think we’re kinky.” I glanced over at the toilet asRyan grinned, finally seeming to realize he’d followed me into the bathroom.
“Oh yeah.” He looked around before his gaze came back to me.“I just thought privacy and not anything else.”
Hopefully that’s what they thought too.
