The short sentence had a rush of heat and pleasure runningthrough me. Thankfully he didn’t make me figure out how to respond to that andanother text quickly followed.

If we both had more privacy I would make you call me andgive me very specific details about what you were asking. But that’s not reallyan option so I’m just going to say you have permission for anything you canthink of.

Relief and something like frustration filled me. Telling himwhat I wanted wouldn’t have been easy, but even I knew how erotic theconversation would’ve been.

Master knew me well enough to realize that because anothertext quickly followed.

I’m going to get all the details tomorrow so don’t thinkyou’ve escaped.

Laughing quietly, I shook my head as I responded.

Would I want to escape? Never.

His only reply was a laughing emoji and a heart. Yep, heknew me very well…but now I just had to figure out what I’d gotten permissionto do. If all I had to tell him tomorrow was that we’d kissed, he was going tobe very disappointed.

Even with two boyfriends, dating was still difficult.

“You know, this doesn’t feel nearly as awkward as it did thefirst time we went out to dinner.” Ryan grinned as I blushed, nodding. “AndDare didn’t even have to give you an order to take me out. Or did he?”

That had me laughing, some of my embarrassment fading. “No,I can promise you it was my idea.”

His grin turned into a pleased smile, making me reach underthe table and stroke my hand over his thigh as I continued. “I was thinkingabout all the stuff he says about wanting to make sure we each have strongrelationships, and this seemed like a good idea.”

Ryan’s grin came back as he squeezed my hand. “And you getcheesecake too.”

Laughing quietly, I nodded. “Of course.”

Softly running his hand over mine as we relaxed back in thesmall circular booth, he glanced around the room before looking back at me. “Thiswas nice. I’m glad you asked me out. I was too focused on dinner with myparents tomorrow and didn’t even think of doing something with just the two ofus.”

That wasn’t a surprise…and I was pretty sure it was one ofthe reasons Dare made it so easy to get permission for us to make love tonight.

We both needed something else to focus on at the very least.

“Well, you’re going to have to make it up to me, then.”Trying to channel Dare, I gave Ryan a slightly cold look and managed not tolaugh. “I thought aboutyou, but clearly I’m not as important.”

Okay, maybe a bit awkward but not terrible considering thathe was back to grinning and looking at me a bit like I was his dessert insteadof the half-eaten cheesecake on his plate.

“I think you’re right.” He tried to give me apologetic puppydog eyes, but it didn’t work. “I was clearly very naughty. I need to learn toput you first.”

Okay, not what I’d been expecting.

Although I really hadn’t figured out a plan to begin with,so now what?

Ryan might’ve been a sub too, but there was a bit of spiceto him sometimes that said he wouldn’t mind taking control under the rightcircumstances…like Dare telling us what we could and couldn’t do. But thatwasn’t helping right now.

“Then I guess you’ll just have to get creative to apologizesince I got permission from Dare to…have fun.” We might’ve had more privacythan I’d been expecting at the restaurant, but I would never be the type topush boundaries unless Dare was the one egging us on.

Ryan’s eyes widened and he fell out of the role he’d beencrafting for himself. “He did? You did? We can?”

Guessing at what he meant, I tried to answer the clippedsentences. “Um, yes, I texted him, and yes, he said yes to whatever we wanted, and yes, we can.”

Had that answered everything?

Ryan’s blinking stare wasn’t giving me enough to work with, but thankfully his brain snapped back in gear after a few more seconds. “Youreally texted him to get permission?”

I was grateful for the self-restraint in not going intodetail about exactly what I’d asked Dare, but nodding was still a littleembarrassing. “Yes, I…I wanted to make tonight special. So that you knew itwasn’t just about the three of us.”
