“We’ve been busy.” Niall’s answer didn’tpacify him.

The men scattered around us found that tobe hysterically funny.

A businessman-looking Dom stroked the headof the man kneeling at his feet before speaking up. He looked like he should’vebeen the CEO of something, but the man at his feet looked strong and sexy likehe worked with his hands for a living.

More people to paint…this was going to beso much fun.

The businessman Dom raised one eyebrow andkept a more subtle smile in place. “I think what we’re trying to point out isthat you’ve both been ignoring us until the last few days, and even then, youwon’t actually answer questions. You just respond randomly.”

Okay, now I could see why they’d all beenfrowning at us.

I smiled and decided to distract everyonejust a bit. “We’re working on our communication skills. Thank you for clearlyexplaining what you’re concerned by.”

That stopped the frowning, at least.

Turning to the grumpy Dom, I widened mysmile. “I’m sorry they’ve gotten behind on practical things. I’m an attentionwhore and it just seems to be a side effect. What even should they have RSVPed for?I hope we didn’t put you behind on something important.”

Now the grumpy one was just blinking at meso I turned to the pretty one. “I’m Keegan.”

He chuckled. “I’m Carter. It’s nice to meetyou, and the RSVPs are for our wedding.”

Weddings were such fun.

All the drama and insanity fed the muse formonths.

“That’s wonderful. Congratulations.” Thenightie said wedding dress to me, but I wasn’t going to assume and end upmaking him uncomfortable. “I can’t wait to hear about the plans. Are you doingplus ones or is it a very small event? They’ll share a plus one if they’reallowed. I love weddings.”

The pretty man smiled. “I will mark themdown for a plus one, and if you give me your number later, I’ll text you thedetails so you can put it on everyone’s calendar.”

“Perfect.” It was going to be so much fun.

Turning back to Julian and Niall, I gavethem both kisses and wiggled between them. “Weddings make me horny, so nopunishments that day that lead to a lack of orgasms, deal? I think that’s fairfor one day, and let’s face it, you’ll get a lot of mileage out of it too.”

The interesting young man behind me spokeup again. “I like him, Master.”

The man just groaned as I turned my head toreply. “Thank you. I love meeting new people. We really need to have dinnerthis week.”

As he nodded, I turned back to my Masters.“I don’t know why I was so worried about meeting your friends.”

Well, they’d been worried, really, but itdidn’t seem polite to point that out.

Julian grinned, looking like he agreed withme but not saying it. Not that I blamed him. He had to at least pretend to sidewith Niall when he was in Dom mode. It seemed to be an unwritten rule.

Hmm, I was going to have to ask Miles whathe thought other ones might be.

It might save us a bit of frustration if wealready had the unwritten rules actually written.

“Come here.” Niall pulled me close, shakinghis head as he glanced at Julian in some sort of silent Dom communication thathad both of them sitting down in a loveseat. As they arranged me with one asscheek on each thigh, I ended up wrapped up in their arms, pressed between them.

It was perfect.

We got a few more interesting looks fromthe people around us, probably because my Doms were so fucking sexy, but itdidn’t take long before everyone was smiling again. As I relaxed into them, Iheard the teasing going on around us and the questions that were not-so-subtlytossed out.

Julian teased and Niall huffed, just like Iknew they would.

They were so similar yet so different itwas amazing to watch them work in unison. They might have seen their differencesas bad things at one point, but I loved the strength their differences gave ourrelationship. Love wasn’t meant to be easy. Anything truly worth it was nevereasy.

We were bound between their past and thefuture I knew would be beautiful…and I couldn’t wait to see how the series thatwould make up our life would eventually unfold. That was the beauty of art andlove…the journey was just as beautiful as the final picture.
