Mom shot me a glare that said I wassupposed to behave. Why she thought that would work was beyond me. “If you killone of your Doms at dinner, I’m going to have to explain entirely too manyawkward things to the police.”

I scoffed. “Not my problem, I’m artisticand I look innocent. No one even gives me a speeding ticket.”

Then I turned to my Doms and smiledsweetly. “Not that I speed. I’m a very safe driver and a good boy.”

No point in getting punished for somethingthey hadn’t caught me doing yet.

Mom laughed, shaking her head as the guystried to decide what to do with us. “You need more practice. You lookmischievous, not innocent.”

“Bull.” I smiled when I left off the cursethat both men seemed to be waiting for. They weren’t going to try to punish mefor that either. “I’m always innocent.”

She rolled her eyes, primarily becauseJulian nodded. “Don’t encourage him.”

He laughed, but Niall finally got his headback in the game because he gave me a grin. “I like innocent. It’s a mucheasier pedestal to fall off of, and then we’ll get to punish him.”

Mom loved that answer, her smile finallylooking genuine. Julian just cracked up again, thoroughly entertained by itall.

Since saying anything would probably costme a spanking or earn me a real punishment, not a fun one, I turned to Julian.“What did you think of posing today? Was it too long?”

Niall gave me a look that said I hadn’tfooled him, but Mom liked Julian enough to worry about him so it was a gooddistraction. He shook his head, smiling as she gave him a concerned look. “Itwas fascinating. Just as much work as I remembered, but because it was you, ithad a different feel to it.”

“So you’d be willing to do it again?” I wasglad to see him nod because I was nowhere near done. “Thank you. I can’t waitto see how it will turn out.”

Turning to Niall, I smiled and somethingmust have looked wicked because he made a show of putting his glass down.Rolling my eyes, I laughed. “I was just going to talk about when you’d bewilling to pose for me.”

He still looked suspicious, but there was aspark that made me think he was glad that I’d asked. “I would be glad to, butJulian made it look entirely too easy so I know it has to be incrediblydifficult.”

Julian seemed like he couldn’t decide if hewas pleased or not, but he apparently felt the need to encourage Niall. “You’regoing to be great. You honestly just have to follow directions, stay still, andglare when he tells you to look sexy.”

Niall looked like he wasn’t sure he couldglare on command, but my giggle had him glaring at me which was so perfect, Momjust laughed.

I couldn’t help grinning. “Yes. That’sperfect.”

It really was. Frustration. Desire.Nervousness, maybe…

“Does anyone remember where my notepad is?”What did I do with my paper?

I would’ve gone searching for it, butbefore I could stand up, all three cleared their throats at the same time.“Fine.”

I’d make notes later.

I needed to remember to keep my stuffcloser, too, especially if he was going to give me looks like that.

Julian’s eyes sparkled like the sub in himcompletely agreed with what he knew I’d been thinking, but since the Dom sideseemed to be more in control, I kept my seat.

Before I could think of a safe topic, Nialltried one. “The chicken is wonderful, Alexandra, thank you for dinner.”

She smiled, gesturing with her fork towardthe stuffed chicken breast on her plate. He was right. The cheese and herbs itwas stuffed with made it incredible. Maybe someday I’d learn to cook it.

“Thank you.” She gave me a teasing frown.“Just be forewarned. This one can set water on fire.”

“It was once.” Who knew that watereventually evaporated if you left the pot boiling long enough? “And honestly. If they’re drawn to me for my domestic skills, I’ve done something terriblywrong.”

Julian was nearly giggling like a kid, butNiall looked more thoughtful as he smiled. “First, no, your domestic skills arenot high on my list of why I like you. Second, and please let me know if thisis too personal, but has it always been like this between you…I mean, the easyway of teasing and talking about relationships and the lifestyle?”

I’d been expecting that question sooner orlater, and so had Mom, judging by her casual shrug. “When Keegan was younger, Ijust explained that I did consulting work and helped people set up newbusinesses. Clubs aren’t all I do, so it wasn’t lying.”

Both men nodded, and even Julian lookedlike he’d never asked about this part of her life before.
