For some reason Julian seemed surprised bythat. There was a split second where he was completely still before the warmthcame back into his touch. “He’s finding your sexy toys fascinating.”
It wasn’t what I thought he might say, butif he wasn’t ready to talk about it, that was understandable. “He’s going tobuy me a new one.”
Julian chuckled that time. “I know. He’s beentexting me nonstop worrying about which to pick.”
I couldn’t help giggling. “I showed himones I would like and he said he was going to choose.”
I could hear the barely restrained laughterin his voice. “For him, picking out an entirely new career would be easier thanpicking a toy from that site.”
“Are you helping him?” They were sointeresting together. I wasn’t sure what Julian would’ve done in Niall’s place.
Julian’s chest jerked like he was barelycontaining his laughter. “I made him a deal he can’t refuse.”
That had been deliberately vague.
Pulling back, I pouted which only made hisgrin wider. “Oh no, it’s my surprise. If you keep pouting, I’ll tell MasterNiall that you’ve been naughty.”
“Aww.” I did my best innocent face. “Hethinks not giving orgasms is a good punishment, though.”
Julian nodded. “And he’s probably right. You like spankings too much.”
Because spankings were the best.
Changing tactics, I kissed his cheek. “ButI’m going to be so good for you that you won’t ever want to punish me.”
Hopefully.
No orgasms for a week was just tootraumatic to think about.
Julian’s smile said he was skeptical about whetherthat would work. Giving my ass a pat, he kissed my nose. “Alright. No moredistracting your muse. Tell me about what we’re going to do today.”
Yes.
Work first, then sex, or nothing would getdone…and that thought was more frustrating than not getting an orgasm. I had toget him down on paper.
“Yes.” Taking a breath, I forced my legs tostep back. “Work first.”
With that mental switch made, I foundmyself studying him as I walked around him. There were so many things I wantedto do with him…but where to start? Oh, apologies were always first. Almostforgot. “I get distracted when I work, so please don’t take that to mean you’renot important to me or to the process.”
The rest of the apology and explanationcame easier as I sank into a different mindset. “I’m also going to apologize inadvance for appearing to be short or rude. I don’t hear how instructions soundwhen I’m working and I won’t mean to be offensive.”
Julian laughed, making me look back up athis face. “Sounds like you’ve had some practice explaining that to people.”
I nodded, sighing. “People expect me to bepolite. It’s difficult.”
That didn’t help stop his laughter, but hisnod said he understood. “I bet it was even worse when you were younger.”
“Yes.” Finally, someone who got it.“Because I wasn’toldI was supposed to remember to be even more politeand apologize all the time for telling someone to move. It was frustrating.”
Julian chuckled, wrapping his arms aroundme to give me a teasing kiss. “I promise not to complain when the great artistgives his peon an order.”
Rolling my eyes, I kissed him back beforestepping away. “No distracting the great artist and no copping feels when I’mworking.”
Julian nodded, doing a terrible job atlooking serious. “Got it. No sexual harassment while you’re working.”
“Thank you. You take up a lot of space inmy head already and I’d never get anything done if you touched me.” I was justbeing honest, but something I said had him smiling again.
Since asking why he smiled seemed a bitodd, even for me, I pointed to a chair in the corner. “You can put your clothesthere. The bathroom is through that door if you need it and please tell me ifyou need water or to move. I might not realize if you need something.”
