Nodding, I took a breath and let it outslowly. It felt like we were right on the edge of a scene and I’d been waitinghours for it to start. That probably wasn’t a bad analogy, but I was at thepoint where I was ready to throw myself into it and let everything go.

The nervous energy was still floodingthrough me by the time Porter had grabbed the bags out of the back of the carand had come around to open my door. I didn’t bother trying to hide it becausehe would’ve known anyway…and he didn’t like me hiding things.

Porter took one look at me and smiledbefore leaning down to give me a kiss. “Let’s get you inside so you can relaxfor a while.”

I wasn’t sure what he was picturing when hesaid relax, but I was up for anything that took away the antsy feeling insideof me. “Thank you, Sir.”

Porter gave me another quick kiss beforereleasing my seat belt and helping me out of the car. “When we get inside, I’llclose the curtains and I want you to take off your clothes right by the door.”

The simple orders had something settling inme. “Yes, Sir.”

As we walked up to the house, Porter keptstroking my back and occasionally dipping down to caress my ass. I had afeeling that was where his mind was going, even if we hadn’t played in thatdirection very much yet.

Once we were inside, he set the bags downon the table in the entryway and started going through the downstairs, closingthe curtains. As soon as the neighbors couldn’t see me, I started taking off myclothes.

For some reason, with each piece that wentinto the pile by the door, I felt lighter. By the time I was naked and juststanding there dressed only in the cage, I was feeling almost relaxed again.

The look of approval and pride as Portercame back to me made me feel even better. “Perfect.”

As he walked over, he wrapped me in hisarms and hugged me tight. Melting into him, I felt stress I hadn’t realized Iwas carrying fade. “I don’t know why I feel like I just ran a marathon.”

Porter chuckled, but he kissed my head andkept me pressed against him. “You had a big morning. Think of it as one longscene. It took a lot out of you. I actually expected you to fall asleep in thecar as we drove back.”

“I thought about it, but that felt sillyfor some reason. I didn’t think about it like a scene.” That put everythinginto a different perspective.

“It was a long scene, and you didwonderfully.” He pulled back enough to kiss my forehead before tightening hishold on me again. “I’m very proud of you. That took a lot of courage andstrength to submit in front of someone new.”

As my muscles started to relax, I smiled.“He was nice. You were right about me liking him.”

Derek was a flirt, but he was confident andsteady. It was easy to see why Porter liked him even though at first glancethey seemed to be very different.

“You guys are going to have fun when you goout.” Porter finally eased back, stroking his hands down my arms. “Come on.”

Following him as he picked up the bags andled us into the living room, I thought about the invitation. “It won’t beweird? You didn’t seem to mind when he said he was going to steal me away forthe evening one day, but I wasn’t sure.”

Porter laughed, shaking his head as he setthe bags down on the coffee table. “No, he wants to get to know you, and you’dfit in more with the age of the rest of his friends. I think it’s a good idea.”

That’d been how I’d read the situation, butI’d needed to double-check.

“Do you think I’ll fit in with the rest ofhis friends?” My question had Porter immediately nodding as he started pullingsomething unfamiliar out of the bag.

I knew it’d been dangerous leaving him andDerek unsupervised. I’d left them for just a few minutes to go to the bathroom, but it looked like that was all it had taken for him to find something else.

Refusing to ask what it was, since itprobably didn’t matter anyway, I focused on the conversation.

Porter seemed to think my fears werebaseless. “I haven’t met many of them. They don’t really like the club. Butfrom what he’s said, he has friends who are laid back and fun and all in thelifestyle in some way.”

“Like me?” I realized that question was toovague when he lifted one eyebrow. Smiling, I ignored the long leather-lookingthing he was stroking between his fingers. “I mean, subs or something else.”

He chuckled. “I’m not sure what somethingelse might mean, but I know his best friend is a little who’s very comfortablein who he is, and they have another friend who’s into a few different things. Idon’t remember their names, but I’m sure Derek will fill you in before you meetthem.”

“The littles at the club seemed relaxed andlaid back.” I wasn’t sure where my thoughts had been headed, but they skiddedto a halt as Porter walked behind me.

As he started wrapping the soft materialaround me, I had to fight to focus on his words. “I agree. They’re cute and funto play with when you want something simple to do at the club. If you ever wantme to introduce you to some of the littles and Daddies, just let me know. Theywould love having a friend who wouldn’t mind playing once in a while.”

Ignoring the way he was binding my arms tomy chest, I kept my mind on his words. “Like a friend or more like a babysitter?I’m not little, so wouldn’t the playing be weird?”

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Portershrug. “No, I think it’s relaxing and they’re a very sweet type of submissive. But looking at it like babysitting would be a good analogy. Some of them don’thave many friends outside the club who understand what they like.”
