Since Stuart seemed lost in thought tryingto place the young man, I glanced around the group again. “Scenes?”

Landon was quiet, but I wasn’t worried. Iknew he wouldn’t say much around them until he was more comfortable with them, and we’d already had the discussion in the car that he didn’t have to sayanything if he didn’t want to.

The idea that all he had to do was listenand let me do all the actual socializing was a pleasant surprise to him. But Ididn’t want him to feel completely separate, so I kept stroking his neck andtrailing my fingers over his chest. I shouldn’t have worried, though; they keptlooking at us both as they spoke, and it was clear he was following theconversation.

Julian cocked his head like he was tryingto remember. “I talked to Conner earlier and he mentioned a sounding scenegoing on at some point. He also talked about a wax scene and one of the pups, Ithink.”

It was Warner’s turn to be helpful. “Benmentioned a few interesting things going on in the private rooms. Sam and hisboy are going to be over there in a bit.”

That coincided with what Ben had mentionedwhen we’d talked earlier in the week, so I relaxed.

“Thanks.” I was glad Warner had beensubtle, but seeing Landon’s reaction would have been interesting. “Maybe we’llgo wander in that direction in a bit.”

Really there was no maybe about it, but Iwanted to surprise Landon.

Sam and his boy were one of the onlycouples I knew that used the public bathroom scene area on a regular basis. With the curious way Landon kept responding to the idea of watersports, Iwanted him to get a chance to see it.

“Hey, I was going to text you guys, but Iforgot.” Julian glanced around. “What about meeting a bit earlier next week anddoing dinner first?”

Landon shifted just enough that I knew hewas thinking about his schedule, but he wouldn’t want to inconvenience me.Instead of making him address it, I spoke up. “Landon works too late on Fridaysfor us to get up here any earlier, but if we do it on Saturday that mightwork.”

I looked down at Landon. “What do youthink, baby?” I smiled as he nodded.

“That works for me.” Warner grinned. “Ineed a steak, but I could be bribed into Italian.”

I chuckled. “Just let me know when andwhere. We don’t have plans for next weekend yet.”

That got knowing grins from everyone, butLandon didn’t seem to have noticed. The slow circles I was making around hisnipples had him tuning out everything else. Which wasn’t a bad thing at themoment because they weren’t exactly being subtle.

I’d gotten a variety of texts and callsover the past week from every one of them wondering how things were going withLandon. I’d gotten everything from cautious warnings not to go too fast toexcited pushes to make him mine.

I was hoping to land somewhere in themiddle, but I wasn’t going to slow things down just because it seemed fast tosome of the slowest people I’d ever met when it came to relationships. Besides,I’d always told myself that I would know when I’d met the right person, and I’dbeen correct.

It’d just taken a lot longer than I’dexpected to find him.

Probably because he hadn’t been born whenI’d gone out on my first date.

As we continued to tease and talk, I keptdistracting Landon with light caresses and the occasional tug to his nipples. He eventually relaxed enough to speak, although it was work-related so thatmade it easier.

“No, don’t pay someone to do that. They’llcharge you an arm and a leg.” Landon looked up at me. “Could we stop byWarner’s house next week before we meet for dinner? It won’t take long.”

I wasn’t sure what they were talking aboutother than it had something to do with Warner’s fuse box, but I nodded. “Ofcourse.”

Landon turned back to Warner. “Just sendSir pictures of the fuse that keeps blowing and I’ll pick up the part thisweek.”

Warner seemed pleased to have earned aconversation from Landon, so he’d have probably agreed to anything Landonasked. He was the most traditional-looking Dom of all of us, loving leather andusually wearing a harness when he came in that highlighted his muscles.

“That would be great. I can fix minorstuff, but I’ve never done anything with the electricity in the place. I wastold that was sound, but now I’m starting to question that.” Warner’s house wasa new purchase and a bit of a fixer-upper, but he’d said he wanted a project.

“I’ll let you know if you need to get someoneelse out there to look at it, but it sounds like a simple fix.” Landon’s wholedemeanor shifted when he was talking about work and I found the change cute. Itgave me a glimpse of what he would look like at work…and some ideas about howsexy he’d look in a tool belt and not much else.

Before Warner could respond, Stuart wascraning his neck trying to see what was going on across the room. He was doinghis best to look casual, but it wasn’t working.

“What’s going on?” I turned to see the guyfrom earlier, now walking across the room with Ben.

Where had Conner gone?

And a better question would probably havebeen why were they heading in our direction?
