Dinner tonight was going to be interesting.

“He wore thatdamned dress on purpose.” Pulling Wade roughly against me as I leaned againstthe wall, I growled out the words low, making him shiver. “You tattled on me.”
Wade made a needy sound then wiggledcloser, pushing me into the corner where we’d hidden away from everyone for aminute. “In my defense, I told on you years ago. I just reminded him earlier.”
Refusing to laugh, I shook my head and madea tsking sound. “I think I’m going to have to punish you later.”
I ran one hand down his back and cupped hisass meaningfully. “You should be grateful you already have plans with yourfriends. I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow to help you remember how tobe a good omega.”
Quietly whining, he arched his ass back andnuzzled his face against my neck. “You can punish me later tonight.”
Whatever he was imagining sent a shiverthrough him.
“From what everyone has told me, you’regoing to be drunk as a skunk later.” Tristan and Simon had both walked methrough different options on how the evening might go and had given me a listof questions and scenarios to discuss with Wade.
The older Wade got, the weirder his friendsseemed to get.
“But that doesn’t mean you can’t spank me.”He peeked up and gave me a naughty but slightly sheepish grin. “We just have totalk about limits and rules first.”
This was getting interesting.
“Really?” I relaxed my hold just enoughthat he could straighten more. “Is that something you did with Matthew?”
The more we talked about Matthew, the morerelaxed he got with the discussions. “Yes. We just need limits and rules likeanything else.”
I thought about it for a few moments. “It’sgoing to depend on your mood later. If you’re emotional or I’m worried, thenno.”
He nodded. “But fair warning, someone willbe emotional for at least a few minutes. You should have seen everyone when wethought we’d lost Dakota.”
I was having a hard time imagining Wademixed in with chaos like that, but from the stories I’d heard, he wasn’t themost outrageous of the group. “Well, hopefully there will be no losing Dakotatonight, although with this house you guys could all get lost.”
I wasn’t sure moving their drunk night toAustin’s house was the best idea, but he’d said that since the no-fly zone hadbeen approved over the house, the issues with the paparazzi had gone down significantly. Also, according to Wade, he’d bought the house behind his so there was no wayto get even glimpses into the backyard anymore.
Wade chuckled. “We’ve been wanderingthrough it for years. It’ll be fine.”
“But you’re going to keep your phone onyou?” Simon, Bradley’s alpha, had suggested a tracking app for children and allof the omegas had agreed to put it on their phones. He seemed to be the biggestworrywart of the group, but he’d convinced everyone that it was a good ideawith one word.
Magic.
That had Silas groaning and demandingAustin’s phone.
Austin had thought it was fabulous and hadjumped in Silas’s lap, thoroughly loving the fact that his alpha loved himenough to stalk him.
They were unique.
I hadn’t needed to voice an opinion becauseWade had immediately started adding the app to his phone. He’d been afraid he’dlose me in the house. He was clearly the worrier between us, but I’d thought itwas so cute I’d gone along with it.
“Yes.” He kissed my cheek. “Just don’twander.”
I had a feeling he’d been a bit more upsetover the idea of losing Dakota than anyone had understood. But since we werecurrently hiding in what seemed to be Austin’s third living room, I wasn’tgoing to argue. “Deal.”
I gave him a quick kiss and smiled. “And ifI see anyone wandering off, I’ll make sure to steer them back toward the poolhouse.”
Tristan had pointed out the issues withtheir previous system of omegas’ night out, so they’d made the decision to haveit at Austin’s. I had a feeling it was a better idea, but I was going toreserve judgment until I saw how tonight turned out.
“You sure you don’t mind hanging out withthe alphas?” He was starting to look worried again. “I don’t want you to bebored.”
