Tristan gave me a knowing smile but didn’tpoint it out either.

He was such a good Dom and boyfriend.

As he helped me up, I gave him a smile andlooked around for Wade. We’d come together…well, he’d been in charge of makingsure I’d shown up on time and I wanted to drag him home with us. Just because Inow had a life didn’t mean he wasn’t important.

He’d been trying to get out of dinners andthings lately and that wasn’t an option.

If I had to be social, so did he.

“He’s trying to escape.” I jerked onTristan’s arm. “You go that way and I’ll go around this way. Head him off.”

Tristan chuckled quietly but quicklyobeyed.

Yep, he was a keeper all right.

As I moved around the room, I got waylaidby Austin who was chattering a mile a minute about random things. Luckily,Tristan caught Wade before he escaped. I couldn’t make out what he said, butWade laughed and blushed, so it must have been good.

Tristan seemed to understand that Wadeneeded more than a traditional friendship from us and I was just grateful thathe didn’t think it was weird. Not every boyfriend or Dom slept with their sub’sfriend so graciously.

And especially without feeling him up.

His control was commendable.

By the time I’d made my way over, they werewaiting patiently for me. “Whose job is it to save me from Austin when he getsthat way?”

I gave both of them a frown.

“You’re both over here flirting and left meto the sharks.” Wade squirmed at my words, but Tristan nodded excitedly.

“Yep, he’s more fun than dodging Austin.”Then he attempted a serious expression. “Besides, we were just talking aboutthe game that’s on later. Very boring conversation.”

Wade might look like the Dad type who’ddrag a dozen kids to soccer practice, but I knew better. “Good try. He probablydoesn’t even know what’s playing right now.”

Then I snorted. “And you probably don’teither.”

Tristan grinned. “I should have said wewere talking about books.”

Wade pretended to sigh. “That would haveprobably been more likely.”

Chuckling, I took both their hands andstarted for the door. “Hurry before Austin decides we need to go out todinner.”

I’d peopled a lot today and I was done.

They both laughed but followed obediently, which I appreciated. As we made our way outside, Wade started to speak, but Iknew better than to let him talk first. “Tristan, would you stop and grabtakeout? We’re flexible and you know what we like anyway.”

I gave him a smacky kiss. “Wade will takeme home and I’ll let him convince me to clean up so you won’t be horrified.”

Giving both of them a beaming smile, Iglanced between them. “Ready?”

As Wade rolled his eyes, clearly seeing mymanipulation, Tristan winked at me. “Yes, I won’t take long, so don’t getdistracted.”

I waggled my eyebrows and leered at Wade, who was now blushing. “I won’t make any promises.”

Wade groaned as Tristan blew us both kissesand headed for his car. Dragging Wade over to his, I gave a dramatic sigh.“Hurry, Austin has that look on his face and you can’t say no to booze.”

Wade barked out a laugh as he unlocked thecar. “I don’t even buy the booze. You can’t blame it on me.”

Shoot.
