Wade blushed as he reached for a biscuit.“That was Simon’s fault. He’s the innocent-looking but really dirty one.”
Tristan snorted and took a sip of hiscoffee. “You’re all that way. Don’t try to hide it.”
Since Tristan seemed delighted with howdirty we were, Wade grinned and relaxed back in his chair. “Possibly.”
“Don’t believe that look. I have storiesthat’ll make you shoot before I even get to the good part.” Wade didn’tappreciate my humor because he smacked my arm.
“Hey, don’t kill my biscuit.” He was evil.
“Then stop telling him I’m a dirty omegawith naughty thoughts.” Wade had played the boring, innocent omega for so longhe was clearly starting to believe it.
“He hasn’t been spanked in too long. It’sfucking with his head.” I rolled my eyes as Wade groaned and his head hit thetable. “He’s usually not this much of a drama queen. It’s probably thehangover.”
Tristan was trying to keep a straight face.“Yes, that’ll do it. So I’m to assume none of you have taken it upon yourselvesto spank him?”
He asked it so perfectly reasonably, Igrinned. “No, at first we were afraid to remind him about what he was missing, andthen we figured we’d fix him up with someone, but that didn’t work out sowell.”
Wade groaned from his face plant on thetable but reached for a piece of his biscuit, so I knew he was fine.
“You’ve clearly waited too long.” Tristan’steasing really brought home how perfect he was.
“Yes, he’s starting to believe he’s vanillaand sweet.” I shook my head. “It’s very sad.”
Tristan nodded, his mouth pinched like hewas sad about the whole thing. “Yes, once the club is open, we’ll have to dosomething about that.”
That could be fun.
Wade’s head popped up. “Oh no, we’re notplotting against me until you guys start actually dating. If you get to meddle,so do I.”
If he thought that would hold either of usback, he was delusional. “Deal.”
Glancing across the table, I smiled, doingmy best to look pleasant and calm. “Would my Dom and helpful assistant like tohave dinner this evening?”
After I got a nap and a shower.
He nodded graciously. “I thought you wouldnever ask. How does Italian sound to you?”
I returned his polite, almost snooty tone.“Nauseating right now, but I’m sure it’ll sound better later.”
Wade giggled.
I gave him an evil grin. “Did you forgethow this conversation started…I have a date and the club will be done in amatter of weeks tops.”
Groaning, Wade flopped down on the tableagain. “You’re evil.”
I might have been evil, but he was clearlymore than ready to start dating again.
Chapter 14
Tristan
Refusing to feel nervous or worry, I smiledas Dakota opened his front door. He gave me a look that said he thought I wasridiculous. “You have a key.”
I shook my head. “Your Dom and assistanthave a key. Your boyfriend is not going to assume and use his key. He’s goingto use his manners.”
Holding out the flowers I bought him, Ismiled as he blushed. Oh yes, I could get used to this side of Dakota.
He rolled his eyes and tried to play itoff, but as he stepped back into the house, he grabbed them and held themtight. “I probably have a vase around here somewhere.”
