Graham snorted. “We’re building those nuts a BDSM club. What did you think would happen?”

“That there would be rules and structure and it wouldn’t be in my pool.” Or my hot tub.

Duh.

“I think you’ve got Simon beat, if that’s what you're worried about. And I’m pretty sure Silas too, but he’s facing the wrong direction so it’s hard to tell. Oh, and he’s hard, so that’s hard to judge too. You get hard too and then I’ll be able to tell.”

Graham was no help at all.

I was going to have to disinfect the hot tub.

“I’m not getting naked.” Especially not without mentally preparing first. This was just a free-for-all of asses and erections.

“Jonah did.” Graham’s smile widened. “Austin’s bouncing around and his dick is just jumping up and down. I don’t know if he’s telling a story or just excited about something, but he’s going to fall if Silas doesn’t make him stop. Ah, he was just preparing to dive into the deep end. Okay, bouncy dick is safely underwater.”

“You’re an asshole.” He was supposed to save me.

“How about you grab some drinks and we’ll see if there are enough hamburgers in the big freezer to grill for everyone?” Graham glanced over toward the door that went to the garage as if mentally sorting through what was in the freezer outside. “If not, we can grab some pizzas.”

“Pizza. I’ll go get pizza.”

Clay was just snickering.

Troublemaker.

Graham was clearly enjoying everything about the odd direction the afternoon had taken. “Are you really sure you want to leave me and Jonah here unsupervised?”

Damn it.

It was going to be a long afternoon.

“I’m still not talking to you.” I turned, walking away from Simon, and ran smack into his mother.

Shit.

“Why aren’t you talking to Simon? Did he tell tales on you too? He’s been doing that since he was a child and I just can’t get him to stop.” She’d been incredibly polite, probably trying to make up for what her sister had said, but I still wasn’t sure how to talk to her.

“Um no, I’m sorry.” Where the hell was Graham when I needed him?

Not getting a clear answer from me, she peered around me and gave Simon a verymomlook. “What did you do?”

Shit.

Please don’t let him answer that.

Simon just laughed, giving her a devious grin before heading over to talk to one of his cousins or brothers or whoever the guy was. There seemed to be dozens of them. “He was…he came over last week and…he…”

She shook her head, clearly jumping to some conclusion. “He’s a handful. He looks so quiet, but he’s a troublemaker. Well, whatever he did, just set good boundaries next time and ground him if it doesn’t work.”

She was nuts.

“Thank you.” But a polite nuts.

In fact, the more you got to know them, the more insane the whole family was. But at least she wasn’t Graham’s mother shooting daggers at me for tempting her son away from a traditional job and now for tempting him away from a traditional family.

Yeah, I’d take nuts over mean.
