He said he had a good metabolism, but I was pretty sure he was an alien. Being from another planet would also explain his incredible recovery when everyone else was still hungover.
“That’s not going to work anymore. You need boundaries.” Graham’s outrage was so cute. Smiling took a lot of effort though.
“That’s a good idea.” I’d add that to my to-do lists when I had a minute to think.
Russ chuckled. “Come on, let’s go inside and we’ll figure things out later.”
That was an idea I could enthusiastically support. “Okay.”
“Bring him inside.” Russ seemed to be talking to Graham because he started moving me toward the door, still tucked against him. “I’ll go get it ready.”
It?
I wasn’t curious enough to ask.
They were my Masters and they were in charge. Just acknowledging that had me feeling lighter than I had in days.
My Masters were in charge.
Chapter 11
Graham
He was exhausted.
It didn’t even seem to be strictly related to how physically tired he was…there was something deeper than that about it. As I led him through the house, I thought about all the times I’d seen him lately. Had I just not noticed how he was pushing himself or had it all come on suddenly?
Either way, we needed to make sure we were looking after him better.
As we headed up the stairs, I had to release him and steer him in the right direction. I wasn’t sure which Jonah we would get, take-charge Jonah who managed everyone or sub Jonah who wanted to give up total control, but it quickly became clear as he cuddled against me that he was done making decisions.
He wasn’t even questioning why I was leading him upstairs when he’d come over hungry.
Was he that ready to turn over control or was he so worn out he didn’t care?
I wasn’t sure, but I wasn’t going to ask. Either way, he needed to be taken care of and that was what we were going to do. Starting with a shower and some restraints, then food and cuddles. After that, we’d see what happened.
His text couldn’t have been timed any better. We’d been sitting on the couch trying to decide how many days had to go by before we could ask him to stay over when the text had come through. We both wanted him over more, but I was in favor of letting him set the pace.
Russ said that was ridiculous, but he was just frustrated that I hadn’t bought ice cream at the grocery store earlier, so his reaction didn’t count.
As we headed through our room and into the bathroom, I steered him toward the toilet. “Use the bathroom. I’ll be right back.”
Part of me wasn’t sure how he’d react, but as he started to follow the directions while I walked back into the bedroom, I realized how ready he was for us to step in and let him relax…maybe even for us to set some boundaries for him.
When I started digging around in the small closet, Russ finally came in. “As soon as he’s ready, we can heat up his dinner.”
“Good. I have a feeling he’s going to crash hard at some point, but he needs food first.” I held up the silk fabric. “This one again? I don’t think the cuffs will be comfortable enough right now.”
Russ nodded. “Yeah, I’ll talk to Silas this week about better options, but Jonah liked being completely restrained and those are soft enough we don’t have to worry about them rubbing against his skin.”
“Do you think he’ll get uncomfortable with us asking Silas about stuff for our sex life?” I grinned as Russ stopped moving and shrugged.
“They’re opening a BDSM club. That has to mean they’re okay with things regular friends wouldn’t be comfortable with, right?” He looked between the closet full of toys and the bathroom. “We can ask tomorrow, but I can’t see how he’d be upset.”
I had to agree. “It’s not going to be a surprise that he likes to submit.”
But people weren’t always logical.
